COLLINS' TROPICAL CHRISTMAS

British actress JOAN COLLINS is enjoying the festive season with her family on the luscious Mexican sea port of Acapulco - but most of her time will be spent with her nose in a book.

The former DYNASTY star, 72, is looking forward to spending some quality time with her husband PERCY GIBSON 40, and her photographer daughter KATYANA, but can't wait to catch up on some well-earned literary therapy as well.

She says, "We're going to Acapulco for Christmas and New Year with my daughter Katyana and lots of our friends.

"Percy will play golf and I'll read books.

"I'm collecting books now - I need to read at least two a day."
