I bought a copy of Judith's Dynasty book and never received it. I bought it through Amazon.com and they charged my credit card for the book. I contacted Amazon yesterday and they gave me a refund of my money. They told me they can't verify the actual shipping or delivery of the book so they gave me a refund.

I don't mean to make Judith look bad but I don't think she has been completely honest with all of us. I'm just writing to let anyone who bought the book through Amazon, you can get your money back.

Judith....I really hope your book comes out soon cause I can't wait to read it.

My book is out and there are 35 copies currently being delivered through DHL as I type this message. I would like to point out something that it seems quite a few people have managed to forget: I do not control Booksurge or Amazon nor do I have any control over how quickly or slowly they get something delivered. I used them on this project before I started my own publishing house because they handled two of my other books without any problem. I had no clue that this book would end up being the biggest headache known to man and quite honestly, I'm at the point to where I wish I had never written it at all. Contrary to popular belief, I'm not making up some story of writing a book on the series, I'm not trying to create chaos on any of the boards and I'm certainly not sitting on this side of the world trying to scam people out of money. I wrote this book because I loved the series and wanted to share my love of the show with other fans, nothing more and nothing less.

I'm finished with the inuendo, the comments and defending myself or work. I know this book is finished, I know it's in print and within the next few days there are quite a few people who will holding their copies. I don't care what gets said about the book anymore, I don't care what anyone has to say about me anymore. At this point, I don't even care if it sells another copy because it's no longer something that I can take any pleasure from. Buy it, don't buy it, get refunds, do whatever you want but don't presume to accuse me of being a liar because a publisher didn't get a book out on time.

I'd like to defend Judith here. I've ordered the book from her directly and am one of those getting it sent out very soon. Judith has been very helpful about posting/printing information and also very apologetic about any delays even when they were not her fault.

I'm hoping to get my copy this week/early next week and I'm sure whoever is first to get this book will post a positive review of it.

But you also have to understand where people are coming from....there are ALOT of scams over the net, I'm not saying this is one of them. I can only report what I am told and when I received no word from the publisher, I assumed that everything was moving along smoothly. As soon as I knew it wasn't going smoothly I have been in constant contact with them trying to get the book processed, printed and delivered.

Wow, these are harsh words from an author. saying you don't care about something you've written is drastic to say the least. I think people are just getting nervous because the same things have been promised for months. It's been promised to be released since August. Here it is the week before Thanksgiving, and.....

At least those people who's books were sent out last Friday Nov. 11, should be getting theirs. I believe they were promised them this week. Hopefully that does in fact happen or I fear there will be another round of "what happened?" posts.

But I am hopeful that we haven't put our faith in something that is only going to disappoint.

I just checked with DHL and it's actually six books that are currently being delivered throughout the U.S. today and three of them have already been received. The other three are all scheduled to be at their destinations by 3:00 and I trust they will be.

That's great news, Judith! I'm sorry to hear (AGAIN) that people are so suspicious. I know you mean well, so it must hurt like hell. Maybe people can make a photo of their book after it arrives. I will as soon as I have it, just to prove that it really exists.

kristian but remember its only some book only people that know about the ins and outs of dynasty are the actors from the show and the people that worked on it.

Joan wrote the introduction and my co-author's "day job" is being Joan's personal assistant.

I am glad everybody is happy again. I am going to have to get this book.

Out of curiosity Kristian, do you have the A&E Biography on Joan? If so go to the end credits. After the ones of Joan and Jeffrey Lane, the screen changes to another list. I'm the Judith A. Moose at the top of the list and Paul Keylock is directly under it. There's a ton of stuff about Joan that isn't in your magazine clippings.

I think you may have misunderstood Judith. She is just saying that Joan Collins fully supports Judith's book and she even wrote the introduction for it. Judith has assisted in the production of the A&E Network’s Biography episode on Joan Collins so she knows Joan. The book is also co-written by Joan's own assistant Paul Keylock. The Dynasty cast is each getting a copy so they must have endorsed this book too and even contributed to it in some way. I think it is great that you are lucky enough to have heaps of Joan Collins and Dynasty information in your collection. However alot of us are not so fortunate. I for one don't have any reading info on the show. There are not even any second hand books in the Aussie book shops here to get an old copy of the Dynasty bio So I'm really looking forward to getting this book as it seems to have heaps of info on our beloved soap opera hee hee It has 704 pages and has heaps of photos too all 723 of them. I'm looking forward to curling up in a comfy chair with and nice hot frothy mug of mocca drink and some nibblies and escaping into the rich exotic Dynasty world by reading this book hee hee By the way Kristian, I would love your Joan doll, she is just beautiful - you lucky girl

Chapter One – Let The Games Begin – This section offers the history of how Aaron Spelling was approached for Dynasty as well as how Esther and Richard Shapiro became involved. It covers a few of their previous projects and brief descriptions of what they thought of the series.

Yes, poor Judith must be breathing a long sigh of relief now that this book drama has been finally sorted out.

Gee, I wish we all could have gotten together at the Filoli mansion by moonlight and had a lovely book opening party where we all could have gotten dressed up in lovely glamorous 1980s Dynasty fashion. We could have all popped champagne and sat around a huge roaring fire place as only Blake and krystle know how to prepare. Then while eating lovely rich exotic food and the Dynasty theme playing softly in the background, we could all take turns to read passages from the book. Of course we would have special guests to our party...the Dynasty actors!!! With Judith as the special top guest. Afterwards we could all curl up in soft plush sofas and watch on a giant screen episodes of DYNASTY!! Hee hee oh dear I'm getting carried away and rambling now...sorry sweet Dynasty gang Can't ya tell I'm a happy little Vegemite and I haven't even got the book yet

The only down side to it, is that i didn't order directly from Judith so i won't be getting any bonuses, but as long as i get the book.

I DON'T BELIEVE IT!!!!! I made an appointment with DHL yesterday that the book would be delivered at my in-laws today between 9 and 1.30 in the morning. But nothing happened and when I phoned DHL, they said they knew nothing about it! The book was still with them (thank God it was not lost), but the appointment was not registered in their pc and I had to make a new appointment! AAAAAAAAAAHHH!!!!! (LOL)

Now the book will be delivered tomorrow and my father-in-law will bring it to me personally.

Awwwwwwwwwww never mind Robin, I waited all day yesterday for my book to arrive and it still hasn't come. It is now 7.30 in Wednesday morning here so hopefully I will get it today. After waiting all day yesterday, I finally recieved the book today - yay It was well worth the wait sweet Dynasty gang It is a great read and looks good too. It has a nice big easy to read print and is packed with very interesting information of our beloved show. I started to glance at it and found that I had been reading it for two whole hours hee hee, the time just flew bye delightfully so Thanks again Judy for writing it for us.
