Hope this is the correct place to post this, if not I do apologise.

I'm trying to find out information adout Dynasty dolls that were produced by "World Doll Inc" in the 1980's.

As far as I have been able to find out so far there appears to be 6 dolls.

2 - 19in Vinyl dolls ( Model 71840 Alexis in red dress limited to 1985 pieces, Model 71850 Krystle in Gold Long dress and coat limited to 1985 pieces)

2 - 16in Porcelain dolls (Model 19640 Alexis in pink gown limited to 1250 pieces, Model 19650 Krystle in 2nd Wedding outfit, limited to 2500)

2 - 16in Porcelain Limited Editions Model 91649 Alexis doll and Model 91659 Krystle - I believe these may be limited to 10 dolls each. From what I remember the outfits included real fur and diamonds.

Does anyone have any other information or pictures of the porcelain dolls?.

I recently managed to get hold of the Porcelain Alexis in the pink gown and I've attached a picture.

Many Thanks
Jayar

I DON'T KNOW IF THIS WILL HELP, BUT I HAVE SEEN THE PORCELIN DOLLS YOU ARE TALKING ABOUT EVERY ONCE IN A WHILE ON EBAY.COM. THEY RUN AT ABOUT $100 USD AND UP. I THOUGHT OF PURCHASING THEM MYSELF AS WELL.

I HOPE THIS HELPS!!

Here's the entire set of the Dynasty dolls along with a little trivia about the Pink Joan.

First up is the vinyl editions

Then there's the first set of porcelain dolls. On Joan, World Doll made a mistake on the first ten that were produced. They made her with blue eyes instead of green. I have doll number nine and doll number 57.

Finally there's the Nolan Miller Dynasty Diva set. They are dressed in bugle beaded dresses, furs and the jewelry is indeed the real thing. Each of the dolls were originally priced at $10,000.00.

[color=blue]Hope this is what you wanted to know. Have a great weekend!

Once again many thanks,

Jayar.

I must say the porcelain dolls looks very cute and look alike! I've never seen them before only the vinyl one of Krystle!

Nice!

( But I would never buy them if the price was $10,000.00. (about 70,000 swedish kronor) puke.gif thumbdown.gif

The only ones that were priced at $10,000.00 were the two on the bottom where everything including the furs and diamonds were real. The other two porcelains can be found usually for a range between $200-$500 each and the vinyl very rarely goes for more than $100 anymore. You also have to remember that there are only 10 of the $10,000 dolls in existence and I know where two of the sets are so that leaves eight of each in the world. For a massive fan with a ton of money they would be a pretty nice item to have.

OK Judith, but still $200-500 is way toooooo much for my wallet and I'm not that crazy about the show.

"If I were a rich man,
Ya ha deedle deedle, bubba bubba deedle deedle dum.
All day long I'd biddy biddy bum.
If I were a wealthy man.
I wouldn't have to work hard.
Ya ha deedle deedle, bubba bubba deedle deedle dum.
If I were a biddy biddy rich,
Yidle-diddle-didle-didle man."

I have the vinyl dolls, but I think the most expensive ones look the best. I like the hairstyle better than on the vinyl versions. They look more real.

Are they from your own collection, Judith?

I decided to see what I could do myself, her hair was very flat when she arrived, I may have a different dress made for her. Maybe one of the Carosel Ball outfits!!

Finally found a wig that fit the porcelain Alexis doll, decided to take drastic action and removed the original wig and replace it. What do you think?

Hello, name is brad and my wife wanted me to find out info about a Dynasty Doll she has and where to possibly sell it and what its worth.

I happed across this wesbite and post on a search and thought I would ask here?

The doll we have is the one mentioned above (19in Vinyl dolls ( Model 71840 Alexis in red dress limited to 1985 pieces)

Its new in the box with all its paperwork. doll has never been removed from plastic but box is showing normal wear from storage.

Is Ebay the only place to look to sell? or is there a special market for these?

Thank you in advance,
Brad M
