I agree with "guest", I can't believe there are Kirby fans. Maybe she is a good actress outside of Dynasty but on the show she was terrible. I couldn't stand watching the scenes she was in.

Well JAW it just goes to show that each Dynasty fan has her/his own favourite characters that she/he loves or loves to hate

My original post is meant for fans that enjoyed watching Kirby :roll:

I think every Dynasty character in their own way contributed to the Dynasty magic that we all love so much :wink:

I loved evil handsome Adam :bouncy: and course the main characters Blake, Alexis, Krystle, Dex, Fallon (Pam sue Martin) and sweet cute Jeff 8), the first Steven, Claudia and KIRBY :roll: but I really didn't need to remind you of that hee hee did I?

i didn't rate Kirby much. Thought she wasn't the best actress in the episodes i have seen her in. I haven't seen all her episodes but i didn't rate her, or Amanda either. I did like Kirby in the reunion which is what i saw before i had seen any early episodes.

I started watching as a kid and my first memories were of the Maldavian Massacre and the Krystal kidnapping storyline. Back then as a kid i liked Amanda but re watching her as an adult i didn't. But since it hadn't been repeated my first sight of Kirby was in the mini series the reunion. Which while that itself was no where near as good as the series, i did like Kirby. but then seeing her in repeats i didn't find her very interesting. I liked some of her storylines and how they impacted on others, but she herself i never rated much.

Sorry, but yes i did check the site for the pictures to see if there were any of the other cats members. Curiosity got the better of me.

I always believed that Kirby was and is an underrated character. Yes, she was modeled after the movie Sabrina, and she does mention that is her favourite film. But, I can relate to her on many levels being a servant's child in a household, you become part of the family and believe you are even though your not. She had her own theme song in seasons 3-4 whenever she appearred. So, She is one of my top ten favourites.

Thanks orlando/uk for your opinion on Kirby - yay another Kirby/Kathleen Beller fan Yes I agree that the Kirby character was underrated and they could have done so much more with her story lines. Her dynamic within the Carrington household is a very unique one - her being apart of the upstairs and also the downstairs world of the mansion. I can understand why you would relate to her situation within the household. Thank you for telling us about your upbringing - facinating stuff.

I love Kathleen Beller, she was my first crush! Interesting facts: Married to singer Thomas Dolby(She Blinded Me With Science) fame they have three children. First film was a small role in Godfather 2, for guys, full frontal nudity in The Betsy, nominated for a Golden Globe in Promises in the Dark, movie with Marsha Mason, and finally was in campy Sword and the Sorceror film.
