Hi everyone,

Just a quick note to remind you (although I am sure that there is no need to) that DYNASTY Season 2 is being released on DVD in less than 1 month in the US !!! (we are all counting the days!!)



All of us who love the Show should support the Sales of S2 - start pre-ordering your copies now!! This is our last chance to prove to the studio execs that DYNASTY can generate enough interest, should we want to see further Seasons released on DVD. Don't forget that not adequate (at least for FOX's standards) Season 1 sales prevented them from releasing S2 and we are VERY LUCKY that Paramount got the rights to the show and decided to continue with S2!!

Although I have bought the whole series on DVD (copied from Soapnet), I will still buy every single Dynasty Season officially released by the Studio!!

Let's all boost the sales as much as we can by buying DVDs for us and for our friends, so that we can soon enjoy also the rest of our beloved show!!

I absolutely agree with you. Further sales of the Dynasty DVD issue depend a lot on sales of the Season 2 DVD. I believe that every Dynasty fan wants to have the DVD release and I expect that sales of the Season 2 DVD will be excellent one. Publishing of the Dynasty DVD version shall depend, to a great extent, on ourselves.

It is currently ranted 1,911 on amazon. Does anyone remember what rank season 1 managed to reach?

Less than 2 weeks to go until the release date. I wonder why we still haven't heard anything about the bonus fetaures and back cover art.

It's moved up the ranking to 205. Sounds very promising.

Yes come on people let's try and get it up into the top 100.Where it truly deserves to be,so we can guarantee future season releases.I mean we wouldn't want to miss out on these scenes recaptured in perfect digital quality would we ?

Sounds like all we're getting is a family tree as an extra.

Thats so pants!! Extra features are a great way to increase sales. they could have included some old TV spots / interview, or the catfights and caviar reunion, E! true hollywood story or somthing!!!!!

The true fans will buy it anyway - but extra are needed i think, especially when we get to seasons 6-8.

Wow, thanks so much!! This is an excellent and very detailed review. One thing seriously worries me though:
However, in small letters on the back of the case it states “Some episodes maybe be edited from their original network versions.” It has to be minor stuff, since the runtimes, all look good...the season premiere looks the shortest. Maybe die-hard fans will only notice. I urge fans to look, especially if you have original ABC episodes.

This is the case sometimes when licencing music becomes too expensive, what episode(s) of Season 2 might be affected here? I wish they hadn't done any editing...:-(
