biggrin.gif Hello Everyone,

My friend ask me whom do you think was mostly Blake daddy girl in the series out of the three:

1. Fallon
2. Amanda
3. Kystina

I say all three were in way but more Fallon and Krystina:

Fallon because the reason is Blake brought up himself
Krystina is becasuse from his love of life Kystle

We both love to know which ones would you pick and the reason why?

Also settle a disagree between us did Blake had a pet names (nicknames) for any of family?

Tell me if i was wrong for as i not seem the series for a very long time. I think just 2 from top my head :

Krystle was it "pretty lady".
Krystina was it "little one".

Can`t remember did Blake had one? Can you help us on this subject?

Thank you

take care. be well, goodbye minnyanne, ki

I think Blake was a " father figure" to a lot of the female characters not only his own daughters, they seem to respect his opinion and caring like kirby ,Dana,
Sammy Jo and even claudia in the early days. But you are right I think Fallon and Krystina were the real Daddy's Girls they both seem to adore him. In Fallons case her brand of love spelt bad news for Krystle her fear of losing him "To a Gold digger",played straight into Alexis hands,of course until she realised what kind of person she was and why her father loved her, which of course made her love and accept Krystle. rolleyes.gif

A little foot note to this story Apparently Pamela Sue Martin liked and respected John Forsythe so much that she asked him to give her away when she got married,he thanked her but said she really should ask her own father to do it huh.gif

GEE what a guy hey wub.gif

Your right about the pet names "pretty lady" for Krystle and "little one" for Krystina (I use to love it when he said that it was so cute)The only thing I remember Krystle calling Blake apart from darling was " cute " Which he pretended not to like !
Adam's Woman
Blake loved all three of his daughters, but I tend to think that his relationship with Fallon was the strongest. After Alexis left, Blake and Steven weren't that close, so I think Blake became very close to Fallon and was able to confide in her.

I tend to think that as she grew up, Blake would have become very close to Krystina, mainly because of his love of Krystle. But, as long as he had Krystle and Jeff, he wouldn't have made her his confidant. I think he would have tried to shield and protect her rather than form a true friendship. Does that make sense?

I never really thought of Blake and Amanda as close. I felt he was a protective, loving father but I didn't get the impression that they really confided in each other. Frankly, his reaction to her affair with Michael (the former chauffer not the prince) was completely over the top. After all, Fallon slept with not just Michael, but snakes like Peter DeVilbus and Nick Toscanni, and Blake didn't treat her that way.

Blake might not have treated Fallon that way, but he had seen first hand how Michael treated Fallon, and what kind of worm Michael was. Was it over the top? No, he had seen how Michael could be, did not trust him -- which was justified -- and wanted to prevent airhead Amanda from getting hurt. Had Blake had seen it before hand, I'm sure he would have done the same with Fallon. In fact, he warns Fallon against Miles both on The Colbys and in the Reunion. He wasn't being over the top, he was being a father.

What I think is over the top is the way he completely forgot her once she left for England. Frankly, what kind of father could forget one of his children? tongue.gif
