Why is it that when Alexis talks about her children she doesn't even mention that she had two others. No mention of Adam or Amanda at all, were they just add ins that were never though of before the were put on the show???

Adam had been kidnapped so he was not spoken about. And Alexis kept Amanda hidden from Blake until she came to town after her trial.

Oh, so was Amanda born after Alexis was banished from Denver???

Yes after Blake found her in bed wih Grimes,Alexis pleaded with him to forgive her,she even told blake initially that he had forced himself on her ( Yeh whatever love! )So they went on with "six month traversty of a reconciliation ",but when Blake went away on another Business, she went to see him in hospital ( recovering from what Blake had done to him when he caught them in bed together) and the Big man found out,so he paid her off "Like the cheap little slut you are" with $250,000 a year, under the condition that she left Denver and had nothing to do with their children.Unbeknown to her she was already pregnant with Amanda and after she was born she left her in london with her cousin Rosalyn to bringup.

They call them plot twists I suppose, when things needed shaking up a bit they just introduced new characters, even to the point of changing original story lines.
Like for instance very early on series 2 I think,it was when Fallon's expecting L.B,Blake gives her his christening shaw/dress as a gift and they have this conversation about him losing his mother at the age of 3 or 4,then much later on in the series the writers obviously thought it would be better for her to have died in a fire as an adult as a way of introducing Ben his estranged brother and explaining the feud between the two of them.Hoping I guess that the viewers wouldn't notice but we did but we still love them blush.gif

Hmmm, I know Blake did a bloodtest, but what if Roger Grimes was Amanda's father, who was killed by her older sister, Fallon? Hmmm...

I think it would have been great if there had been a question about Amanda's true paternity, although I suppose that would have been too close to the Fallon/Cecil storyline, even though Amanda didn't sleep with Roger Grimes (as far as we know).

Did Blake take a blood test? I thought he planned to ask Amanda to take one but it became unnecessary because Alexis broke down and admitted the truth.

I always thought it was very strange that Blake didn't insist on a blood test with either Adam or Amanda.
