I am new to this forum and thought I would introduce myself. I watched Dynasty from the very beginning. I remembered Linda Evans from Big Valley and tuned in out of curiousity. I got completely caught up in the Ted Dinard murder trial. What about the rest of you? When did you get hooked on Dynasty?

Welcome to this Dynasty site, hope you have a great time here reading posts and writing some too. Ah I got hooked on Dynasty the first time it aired in Australia in the 1980s. It was great to see a soap about beautiful, rich people in gorgeous clothes and surroundings!!

Hi I remember being about 13 or 14 at the time and was actually a Dallas fan ( its okay though I've had the best counselling money can buy ) and I was around at my grandparents and dynasty was on,it was the episode when B & K were at skycrest and Blake has the fight with Nick Toscani and thrown by his horse.I wasn't really watching it until Krystle started getting upset about him being missing and eventually finds him herself and her strong emotions and their love for each other was so obvious,I was hooked it was so different then as it is now to have two characters who don't cheat and lie no matter what problems they have or what provication they just cling closer together and find a solution

I got hooked to Dynasty (and especially to Blake and Krystle) immediately. I think that the fact that Linda and John matched so well as a couple made the series attractive for viewers. Their relationship on screen was so natural that it made me tune in to Dynasty every week. I was a teenager and sometimes they would show Dynasty very late. I even stayed up until 1 a.m. once to watch one of the episodes. I remember a day when I even skipped school because I was tired from watching Dynasty the night before. That's what I call a true fan!(ha-ha!!!!). Luckily, I was always a good student, so playing truant for a day didn't have much bearing on me. But missing a single episode of Dynasty would have definitely been a disaster at that time.

Well, I was only 10 years old when the first episode of Dynasty was sent here (1983). I had to beg and beg and beg and beg my mother to stay up and see Dynasty. And finally i was allowed... (thank you, mom).

And since I saw the always cool Fallon, nice Steven, lovely Krystle, fair Blake, lovesick Jeff and funny Matthew I was hooked... And still are!

Funny, but I don't really understand why I love Dynasty so much... but, I do, and always will....
