We hope that the fans from the US, who are in position to watch the Dynasty Reunion, will tell in detail their impressions to international fans on this forum after the broadcast, and hopefully attach some captured shots. Please keep telling us the details before our good angel, Judith, sends the DVD's to us.

I don't know if that's a good idea or not Goran. I already know just about everything that happened before, during and after the filming and although I can't go into any of the particulars (swore on my life that I wouldn't give away anything), I will say that some people are going to be disappointed in a few aspects. If everyone in the U.S. is posting their thoughts and what took place, it kind of ruins the experience for those who aren't in the U.S. because they'll be judging the program based on what others say before they ever get to see it.

thumbdown.gif boring, boring, boring, oh my god........... tooooooo much joan and linda, dynasty was a lot more ,but i was happy to see pamela sue martin a gain she rules, and al corly and even though i was not a catharine oxenberg fan i am now . she seem very gracious. it must be that princess thing . i know that joan and linda are doing a play together maybe when they need a rest . they will let pamela and catharine fill in . now that would be fun.

I couldn't disagree with you more - I LOVED IT!! I was crying when John came in at the end (you hear his voice at the very beginning but do not see him 'til the last few minutes), what a gallant, handsome, kind man -- and you could sense the love in everyone's heart for him.

As Judith Moose recommended, I will not "spill the beans" on too much of the show, but here are some brief impressions:

* REALLY enjoyed Linda and Joan reminiscing together. It's clear they get along quite nicely.
* Joan looked absolutely STUNNING.
* Catherine Oxenberg looked beautiful.
* Al Corley and Jack Coleman looked very handsome.
* John Forsythe is the damn most amazing 88 year old I've seen in my entire life.
* Linda seems like a lovely person.
* The clip montages were well-done, especially the ones of all the catfights - what a riot! I was roaring with laughter outloud!
* There as a brief blooper reel, and I will not divulge more, except to say they were hilarious!

Overall, FOUR STARS -- Henry Winkler did a nice job producing this. I adore Dynasty even more after tonight. -- Mrs. Carrington

I LOVED, LOVED, LOVED IT!!! wub.gif

All the women looked wonderful...

It was nice to see Al and John again...he seemed to still be the John Forsythe we all love. His body maybe frail, but his spirit is still there smile.gif It was a great show, just two things missing Hearther Locklear and John James sad.gif But overall worth seeing.

I really enjoyed it but I guess I will never find out if Sable had Dex's baby ;-)

I do think it should've had more characters and mention a little more on the last 4 years of the show

I loved that they did an intro just like the show, it was almost like watching a new episode of Dynasty. Joan and Linda looked the same (exept for Linda's lips) everybosy else just looked older. I liked when Pamela Sue MArtin said that those 2 looked the same ... 'have you not left the mantion?'

The bloopers were great, the only unseen footage in the reunion. Short but funny.

There was also a glitch when Al Corley asked Gordon Thompson about the Moldavian Massacre - his responce was about the the Seaon 7 cliffhanger not Season 5.

Overall it was good, much better then 'The making of a guilty pleasure'
julie32
I noticed that too....Al Corley asks about the Massacre scene and Gordon Thompson says "Bo Hopkins (Matthew) comes back and wants to kill everyone!" That was scene 7. I was surprised the producers or other actors didn't catch that!!!!!
socaljez
Catfights and Caviar was great. You will love seeing old friends together on screen. Yes, there could have been more cast members included, but what can you do!
I adored the Bloopers. PLEASE let them include bloopers as extras when the following Seasons are released on DVD. Those bloopers were soooo funny and I imagine there are HUNDREDS if not THOUSANDS more that they did not show.
The cast all look great. Linda needs to leave her face alone for a while!

I really wished that Joan or someone else had said, "Sorry, that was your wedding, not Amanda's. That was the other time a wedding was invaded by bad guys. Can't you keep these things straight?"

Actually, that was a mistake made by the editing people. The taping was stopped after that mistake was originally made and a new corrected scene was filmed. The editing for the show was done very quickly and they grabbed the wrong segment.
BKFan
I noticed that about Thomson's comment too. I also noticed something else that I thought was an error, but I may be the one who is wrong. When they were showing clips about B and K, the scene in front of the fireplace the episode title was "The Chafeur Tells a Secret." Was that the right episode for that scene? If not, what was the name of the episode because I don't remember. Also, I thought they all looked wonderful. Joan does look unaged, but the rest look great too! I especially liked Evans and Collins catfight segment. The only thing I was hoping to see and didn't was a segment, or a longer one, of all of the B and K fireplace scenes. They were my favorite! I also liked that PSM and Evans seemed close. Martin hugged Evans and said, "I never really hated Krystle."
Mrs. Carrington
Yes, PSM and Linda seemed very close - and from what I've read in the past, were good friends during shooting days.

BTW, did anyone else notice another mistake made? This one was by Joan. When she retold the story of the kidnapping of Adam Alexander Carrington, she recalled that the nanny was the one who kidnapped Adam and then demanded a ransom, which went unpaid. According to what I remember, the storyline was that Michael Torrance's grandmother snatched him/Adam from the carriage while his nanny had him out for a walk, and that there never was a ransom -- because the grandmother wanted to keep him.
Adam -from Poland
Scene with Blake and Krystle is not "The Chafeur Tells a Secret" episode.
Dynasty Reunion:C&C is GREAT but too short and where is Heather Locklear and John James sad.gif ?
BKFan
What episode is that scene from? I cannot find it on my tapes. It must be on one that I don't have. Does anyone know? (The one Catfights and Caviar had as "The Chauffer Tells a Secret.")

From "The baby" episode with Krystle/Alexis cathfight(season 2)

Which quotes from Dynasty Reunion:C&C is your favourite?
Great quote is : "Hello you son of a bitch" laugh.gif
BKFan
Thank you Adam. "The Baby" is one of the few episodes I don't have. I think it is coming around again soon on SoapNet and I will definitely set my VCR for it. I liked that quote by Joan too about Adam. I also liked when Linda and Joan were doing the segment about the catfights and they were talking about Linda doing her own stunts and Joan said, "You're such a jock Linda." I also liked Linda talking about having a crush on John during Bachelor Father and she told him when they met again on Dynasty, "I get to marry you in this one John."
Ana
Is there anyone who has captured pictures of certain scenes of Reunion?
Dario
I’d like to know what the part that Gordon Thomson took in Reunion was.
BKFan
One thing I thought about this week rewatching Catfights is that I hope Paramount or whomever puts out the other seasons of Dynasty will get Linda and John to do the commentary next. John looks so frail and I can't imagine having a Dynasty DVD without his comments. I don't even want to think he might not be around, but it's a possibility for any of us. I may not even be around then. My point is Linda and John have GOT to talk about all of those fireplace scenes, and as it was publicized during the show, "the love that lives forever." PLEASE HURRY WITH THE DVD'S!
allegre
Gordon wasn't in the reunion show, they didn't give enough notice apparently and he was contracted to work on another show, the role of Adam was played by Robin Sachs I believe ( not very convincingly I'm afrraid ! )

As for the comment about John your right none of us knows how long we will have him with us sad.gif so we do need those commentries on the dvd with Linda.I can't even imagine how she will cope when he's gone ohmy.gif But lets not even think about it,its to distressing lets just go on enjoying and celebrating the love that lives forever wub.gif

I’m not sure if anybody mentioned Krystina. Even though there missed John James, Heather Locklear and Michael Nader, it quite a pity that we didn’t see Jessica Player in Catfights & Caviar. It was interesting to see what physical transformation underwent the Blake’s and Krystle’s daughter after all these years.
BKFan
I also thought it would be cool to see Krystina. I have tried to find out what Jessica Player is doing now and she obviously isn't in show business.
Krystle
Yeah I had also been hoping to see Jessica Player in the reunion ...
Theo
John James and Heather Locklear mean a great disappointment for me. Too bad that they did not appear, if not for other reasons, then out of mere respect for John Forsythe, because this is not just reunion and the jubilee cerebration of 25 years of the series, but also a specific farewell to him.
