Dear Dynasty-Fans,

As you may or may not know I am the game master of the Dynasty RolePlayingGame „A New Millennium“, playing in 2001, at www.dynasty-board.com

Due to recent incidents there are going to be a few changes in the game. As some players have left us, I have decided to go for a fresh start.

Please remember that this game is open for everyone and creative freedom is endorsed. We are not fixated on a special view or special aspects of the series or the game so all kinds of storylines are allowed as long as they are consistent.

All roles are open for a re-cast, and therefore I want to invite you to join the game. Please send your application to me via PM, ideally until Monday, 10pm Central European Time. Just tell me what role(s) you’d like to play (you may pick up to three) and what you have in mind for them.

Here you’ll find information about the available characters and what storylines they are involved in:

BLAKE
As Krystle’s suspicions grow, Blake is continuing his affair with Sable, while trying to integrate his daughter Natalie into the family. He is also having a hard time with Alexis, because she blames him for terrorizing her. Business is also not going well, as he has misjudged a pipeline deal with Jason and fears a hostile takeover.

KRYSTLE
In Katie Redman, Krystle has found a new best friend. She is currently trying to help Krystina, who got raped. Also her marriage to Blake isn’t what it used to be. She has yet to find out what’s wrong.

ALEXIS
Alexis feels terrorized because she keeps receiving letters and “gifts” from her dead father, Steven Morell. After analyzing the facts and the pieces of evidence, she came to the conclusion that it was Blake staging the whole thing. So she is determined to bring him down and make him pay for this attempt to get rid of her.
In the process she’s trying to bring as many family members on her side, against Blake. She was successful with LB and Estella but has yet to convince her other grandchildren and her children.
She is working closely with her personal assistant Henrietta Collins, who has become an invaluable friend to her.

FALLON
Fallon’s main concern is currently her football team and of course her daughter Lauren, who has been institutionalized in a sanatorium. She has yet to find out that Alexis got the doctors to release her though she hasn’t been completely cured.

JEFF

ADAM
Adam has a severe drinking problem. He even slept through the birth of his first grandchild and is emotionally unable to care about anyone at this point, not his mother, not his wife Gracie and not even about his son Luke.

AMANDA
Amanda is willing to do everything to get Danny and her stepdaughter Estella together. At this point it looks like she is successful – Danny proposed to Estella – but because of Estella acting so peculiar about that she still has to make sure that she’s going to make it down the aisle with Danny. Other than that she is running the jewellery business of her deceased husband, The House of Hartcourt.

STEVEN CARRINGTON

LUKE CARRINGTON (portrayed by Sean Faris)
Luke is the son of Adam and Karen Atkinson and became part of the family not even a year ago. A one night stand with his nurse Lucy made him a father (at least so he thought). In the process of saving his grandfather Blake’s life, a bullet hit him and he has been confined to a wheelchair ever since. Though he was really in love with Estella, he is trying to be a good father for little Luke-Adam and a good husband to Lucy.

LB COLBY (portrayed by Hayden Christinsen)
LB is currently working as an intern at ColbyCo, ready to take responsibility when his grandmother Alexis wants him to. He hasn’t got along very well with his grandfather Blake lately.

STEVEN DANIEL “DANNY” CARRINGTON (portrayed by Jacob Young)
Danny is jealous of Luke and so he is following a gigantic ploy to get him away from the family. He is probably the real father of little Luke-Adam. He promised Lucy a good life if she got pregnant and pretended that it was Luke’s baby for sure. Which she did.
In the meantime, he is completing his plot to get Estella and Luke apart by getting Estella to marry him, though he knows that she is in love with Luke.
Not enough, he is also having an affair with Leslie. He found out about her pregnancy, and here it is also not clear, if Zach or Danny is really the father of Leslie’s child. So Danny could become a father for the second time soon.

LUCY CARRINGTON (portrayed by Jessica Simpson)
Lucy was a nurse on a cruise ship before she got to Denver and met the Carringtons. She originally worked as Luke’s nurse and had a one night stand with him. Soon she met Danny and they developed a giant plot which would promise her a life like a queen.
As mentioned before, it now seems it all has worked out and she could live the live she always wanted to as the wife of a Carrington. But it is unclear how being a mother will affect her and if she’ll be able to keep the secret about the child’s paternity forever.

KRYSTINA (portrayed by Evan Rachel Wood)
Krystina has been raped and her mother is trying to help her over it. Things are especially difficult after the newspapers have found out. She also has a boyfriend, Larry Fowler.

ESTELLA HARTCOURT-CARRINGTON (portrayed by Ashley Olsen)
Estella is a bright young girl, who has lived with her stepmother Amanda in Denver since her father died. She is in love with Luke but due to his obligations she can’t have him. Nevertheless, she is currently engaged to Danny and counting on her grandmother Alexis to do something against Lucy. She feels pressured by Danny and Amanda because they want her to walk down the aisle as soon as possible and she is not fare away from sure about that.

GRACIE CARRINGTON (portrayed by Miranda Otto)
Gracie is Adam’s wife and she’s pregnant. She feels that she hasn’t got the support of her husband as she used do. His drinking problem could be a reason for that.

NATALIE THOMAS (portrayed by Emily van Camp)
Natalie Thomas is the daughter of Sable and Blake. After Blake got to know that he was the father of Sable’s child on New Year’s Eve 2001, he insisted on finding her, because Sable gave her up for adoption. She has contact to Steven Morell whom she considers to be a friend who could count on because he provided her shelter and cared for her every time she ran away. She also has a hard time getting to know her real mother Sable because she perceives her as being too possessive.

KATIE REDMAN (portrayed by Stockard Channing)
Katie is a very good friend of Krystle’s. Her ex-husband Thomas Patterson is currently stalking her because he wants her back. Every time they meet it seems that she is more and more susceptible to his charme.

STEVEN MORELL (portrayed by Sir Laurence Olivier)
Steven Morell is Alexis’ father. He faked his death after Alexis’ and Blake’s marriage and moved back to Europe. Incidentally he met Claudia Blaisdel and later his grandson Steven Carrington in Italy and lived with them for several years. He warned his grandson about returning to Denver, but he refused to listen. A few weeks later, Steven Carrington died in an explosion. Steven Morell and Claudia blamed it on the family and decided to do something against them.
They returned to Denver, and while Claudia reappeared at the Steven Carrington’s funeral, Steven Morell continued to hide. He tried to kill Blake but the bullet hit Luke, and he is also responsible for the letters and “gifts” Alexis keeps receiving. Furthermore, he caused the shooting at Lauren’s birthday party and therefore also Jeff’s death.
After finding out who Natalie really is, he decided to be there for her.

HENRIETTA COLLINS (portrayed by Bette Middler)
Henrietta is Alexis’ personal assistant and also became very good friend of hers. She is a bit confused because she thinks she feels something for Alexis. She can’t stop thinking about her. Other than that, she is a witty journalist and doesn’t like the Carringtons.

SAMMY JO
Sammy Jo is the owner of a successful cosmetics company and has a fling with Dex.

DEX
Dex has an affair with Sammy Jo. His business is in trouble because ColbyCo cancelled the drilling contract for the oilfield Morell1 with Dexter International.

FRANKE and JASON
Frankie and Jason are currently together, living in Los Angeles. They could return to Denver anytime.

MONICA
Monica is living with Frankie and Jason in LA, but could return to Denver anytime.

BEN
Ben is currently living in Australia, where he successfully built his oil company SydneyCarrington. He could return to Denver anytime.

MILES
Miles is currently living in LA with his daughter. Details about that are yet to be revealed.

Hi everyone,

I would like to say that this is a great game and it's been a great source of inspiration for me during my time as a player and a fanfiction writer. I never thought I'd get so many new friends this way! I really think that those of you who are interested should apply and join us!

The casting process is taking longer than expected, and as I am quite busy at the moment and still need to talk to a few people, the re-start of the game is going to be postponed to Wednesday evening.

In the meantime, let me welcome players Ebony, Monica Colby and Padme into our cast. What roles they are going to play will be revealed on Wednesday.

Please let me add, that if I don't receive any applications for Fallon, LB and Lauren they are being written out for now in the next few posts.
