Alexis once told Fallon that she met Blake at a party, took a breath, and went after him. So, love/sex was not their problem. It would seem as though they never recovered from losing Adam. Blake burried himself in work and credited Denver-Carrington with being a tribute to Adam. Alexis coped by becoming a sex maniac. Would they have stayed married if they had not lost Adam?

I think there is only one excuse for the breakdown of their marriage: Alexis' infidelity. How many times did Blake forgive her? And how many times did Alexis wind up in someone else's bed?

True, Blake buried himself in work, but that hard work bought Alexis the house, the cars, the jewels, etc. -- the lifestyle she so desired.

I remember one particular argument between Blake and Alexis in which she tosses his fling with Kirby's mother back at him when he was going on about Roger Grimes. As I recall it was something to the effect of "Me? What about you and Alicia Anders, the closet nymph!"

In Acapulco when Lady Ashley's trying to warm up to Blake, Alexis and Blake share a dance at a party in which she says, "I've been wondering something. Were you always faithful to me when we were married?" His reply, "Keep wondering."

But if we're going to bring up Roger, let's not leave out Cecil, Jimmy Decker, Sam Dexter and probably four or five more...

In defence of Alexis, she was a business woman and used her charms to accoplish waht she needed. If you look at all her gentlemen suiters over 30 or so years, it really isn't quite that bad. Maybe not terriblely moral, however it wasn't as if she's slept with a different man every night. Once every six months or so.
I still think Blake being away drove her crazy. She was a young passionate woman who was ignored by her husband who abandoned her for his business for months and months.

That's not a very good excuse. Most of the men listed were BEFORE she became a businesswoman.

he's the one in the grey jacket. Blake wanted him to help him with some business, but Alexis had seen to that In her own way I think, well, at least those two knew each other before this episode

Billy waite did live in carcarcus,Blake went there with a pregnant Krystle (aaah)He needed help financially because of Alexis screwing up his south china sea deal with Rasheed Ahmed.It was a very bad time for Blake because Fallon was missing as well.Alexis found out about him going to Venezuala and went out there after they got back to tryand cut off another source of money. She knew the slimy Billy when she was married to Blake.He even made a big thing about Krystle and Blake sharing the same room that he and Alexis had shortly after their honeymoon,but Krystle was too much of a lady to react. The plan such as it was back fired a little for Alexis because when she was about to leave she was arrested for bail violations (E.g. for leaving the U.S.A) because at the time she was accused of murdering Mark Jennings by pushing him off her terrace.
