I started watching Dynasty in college (from the very first episode): the main attraction for me being, of course, Mr. Forsythe. I remember how I would coerce my then boyfriend (and now husband) to watch it with me. For him, the redeeming feature of the show was the women! dry.gif

I kept up with the show religiously through the first three seasons or so, but kind of lost interest mostly because of the frequent friction in the Blake/Krystle relationship (translation: not enough love scenes with them!).

I started watching the show again this past spring on SOAPnet ( thumbdown.gif to them for dumping it) starting toward the end of season 1. I’m hooked all over again! Thanks to Komodor and his most excellent DVDs and service, I’m now into season 5 (Krystle just brought Krystina home from the hospital).

I just wanted to let the writers in the “Scenes” topic know what a great job they’re doing “filling in” the B/K romance missing the first time around. Keep it up guys!

P.S. Der Denver Clan should have formed their own family chapters of Weight Watchers and AA with the way they ate and drank! biggrin.gif

Do you know what ! That is "spooky" I am at the moment busy transfering my old vhs tapes onto dvd's and I am on season 5 and the episode that I am upto is the one where Krystle brings Krystina home from the hospital. How weird is that I've actually left it running because if I have to watch Lady Ashley for one more second I'm going puke.gif or get very furious.gif Trying to take B away from K.I absolutely agree with you about how they treated them definitly too much friction and not enough wub.gif mind you If I had my way they would probably be in bed all the time.I remember reading an old article where linda was asked what she hoped the new season would bring ( They only knew what was happening one script ahead ) and she said she hoped they wouldn't bring in anymore new love interests in for either of them. She said the bosses kept pushing for them to have affairs, but her and John kept refusing.I mean when you have got that much man loving you ,you don't want or need anyone else.I guess Linda felt the same( lucky girl whistling.gif

P.S. On behalf of all the writers we thankyou for all your praise. wink.gif

That's surprising because there were less and less frictions between both after season 3. And there wasn't tension anymore after the first half of season 6 (a half that doesn't really count since it is with Krystle's double that Blake fights lol_2.gif ).

Like I said, back in the early '80s, I didn't keep up with the show that diligently after season 3. I guess if I'd have kept watching, my disappointment may have subsided. smile.gif I'm looking forward to seeing how things developed over the course of the remaining episodes.
