The Gathering Storm
Jason is put in jail by Moretti, who is enjoying his show quite
a lot. In the very last minute, Monica is rescued by a man out of
her burning plane. At the Excelsior hotel, Miles meets a young attractive
woman who is obviously very interested in him. Fallon and Jeff break
the news about the new baby to Miles, but Fallon behaves quite strange.
She wants to find out who's the father of her child, but due to
her medical history the doctor dissuades her from having the test
done before the child is born Frankie visits Jason in jail, they
swear that nothing will bring them apart. Furiously she orders Sable
to take the charges back. Her sister refuses of course, she seems
to enjoy the result of her doing as well. Monica calls Miles and
asks him to pick her up. He comes immediately and comforts her.
Jason is finally bailed out. He asks Sable to stop her useless action
for the children's sake, but she would only agree if he drops his
divorce plans. Bliss is very angry with her mother, she doesn't
believe her and complains to Jason about her behavior. Even Miles
tries to persuade Sable to withdraw the charge and to let Jason
go. Fallon asks Frankie gets suspicious when Fallon wants to know
if the fact that Jeff is Jason’s son did change the way she felt
about Philip. Fallon refuses to reveal the reason for it to her,
but she finally decides that Jeff should know. Miles meets Channing
again, the pretty stranger he met at the hotel. They make an appointment
for dinner. Arthur assures Sable that she will need Zach to testify
for her if she wants to go through with her intention. So Sable
goes to Zach in order to sleep with him and to ask him to back her
up in court. Jason spends the night in Frankie’s pool house. Zach
and Sable spend the night together as well, but when they come to
talk about Jason, Zach definitively refuses to lie for her in court.
26.
No Exit
All furious and disappointed, Sable leaves Zach's apartment, she
feels used and humiliated. Jason and Frankie are luckier, they celebrate
the start of a new life. Miles and Channing are dining together,
but Miles bores her by talking only about Fallon. Miles has no idea
that her uncle Lucas, a successful, but ruthless publisher has set
her up to get as much as possible information about the Colby-family.
Nevertheless, Channing seems to be really interested in Miles. Fallon
suffers nightmares because of her terrible secret, Jeff is worried.
Sable watches Frankie and Jason. Jason is very optimistic about
his future with Frankie, while she remains critical. Sable, who
watches them, attacks Frankie and blames her for her "shamelessness"
of running of with her own sister's husband. Dominique informs Monica
that she has to sell Titania Records as her brother Blake is in
deep financial trouble after Alexis and Ben have take over Denver
Carrington. Sable feels helpless with nobody at hand to back her
up, she finally asks Monica for advise, confesses she'd lied to
everyone and that she wants to withdraw the charge against Jason.
Jason thinks that Zach might have set Sable up against him. Miles
invites Fallon for lunch, but she can't even bear his company. Moretti
responds indignantly to Sable's withdraw, he swears that he will
get either Jason into jail - or her. Arthur Cates advises to plead
that she was "mentally incompetent" after her accident
in order to avoid legal consequences, and Sable accepts. Dominique
has dumped Garrett because he lied to her. So he asks Jason for
the vacant job in New York since there is nothing anymore which
ties him to L.A. Channing comes to Sable and tells her that the
magazine Modern Design will make a sixteen page layout on her. Fallon
confesses to Jeff what has happened between her and Miles. Her husband
is indignant, he starts being aggressive towards Miles Jason accuses
Zach of setting Sable against him, but Zach surprises him with the
fact that he even refused to lie for her in court. Bliss is happy
to hear that Sable dropped the charges against Jason, but Jason
himself believes she's only doing it because Zach refused to cooperate.
Finally he asks her to leave the house the same evening. Frankie
is shocked by this harsh measures. But Sable faints in the doorway
before she can leave...
27.
Jason's Choice
Jason reproaches himself for being too hard on Sable, Frankie is
worried, too. The doctor advises that she must stay in bed for at
least one week. Fallon wants to go home to Denver, but Jeff talks
her out of that idea and suggests instead that the two of them should
take a little holiday together. Dominique sells Titania Records
and her hotel to Zach Powers in order to get the money for Blake.
Monica must tolerate Dominique's choice but she quits, she does
not want to work for Zach. Sable has come up with the conclusion
that the best she can do is to leave, but Bliss does not agree.
The injunction is lifted, Colby Enterprises can use San Miguel harbor
again. Dominique asks Jason for help for Blake against Ben and Alexis,
but Jason declares that he cannot afford to refuse to cooperate,
since "business is business". Miles and Monica are concerned
for their mother. Monica tells her to drop her "brave little
me" number and offers her help. Channing moves into the house,
and since Sable is not in the condition to deal with her, Miles
sees to everything, they get close and finally make love, but Channing
has already recognized that Fallon is still in his heart. Zach complains
to Jason for being stamped as the trouble maker who is responsible
for everything which goes wrong. Sable confesses to Miles that she
would like to stay at the mansion. Channing and Miles agree that
everything happened too fast between the two of them, they decide
to start all over again. Fallon and Jeff force themselves to relax
and to forget about their problem, but that turns out to be just
impossible. Miles, Bliss and Monica talk to their father and ask
them to let their mother stay. Jason doesn't think that this is
the way to handle a failed marriage. But in the end he tells Sable
she can stay if she does not oppose a quick immediate divorce in
California. Sable accepts without reservations, but Frankie is indignant
about Jason’s choice and gets the fact straight that Jason can't
have it both ways.
28.
The Matchmaker
Jason offers Frankie even to build a new house, only for them, but
finally she tells him that they belong to their children and accepts
his decision about Sable. Channing and Miles enjoy each other which
bothers Monica a lot. She does not like the girl Jeff has obviously
problems to cope with the situation of not knowing if he is the
father of Fallon's baby, he repeats that he will never forgive Miles
for what he has done. Jason hands the divorce papers to Sable, she
promises to give them to Cates as soon as possible. Besides, he
wants Frankie to run the house from now on. Sable accepts that but
already on the next occasion the sisters get into another little
squabble which ends with Frankie divulging to Sable that Jason has
set up a trust of $ 10.000.000 for Fallon's baby. Lucas wants Channing
to keep an eye on all the Colbys, not only on Miles. She reacts
very angry to it. Jason is indignant to be informed by his insurance
agent about Monica’s plane crash. His daughter, who is just leaving
Titania Records, tells him she isn't ready to discuss the matter
with him yet. Sable shows Channing the Colby Collection and finds
out that the girl is seriously interested in Miles. She encourages
her son to make up his mind about her and starting a family, but
Miles makes it very clear to her that this is his life and that
she is supposed to stay out of it. Jeff's behavior towards Miles
becomes more and more aggressive, while Miles feels very hurt since
his father seems to favor Jeff and his opinion anywhere and everywhere.
Sable keeps assuring Zach that their relationship is over, but he
still doesn't take it serious. Bliss shows quite unmistakably that
she has no intention to make friends with Frankie. She has agreed
to do the public relation work for her mother concerning the new
dance company . When she meets the Russian guest star dancers Anna
and Nikolai Rostov, she is very impressed, especially by him, but
his conceited behavior spoils her fascination a bit. Jason asks
Monica to take Garret's job as General Counsel of Colby Enterprises.
She is happy to see her abilities appreciated finally and accepts.
Miles shows Fallon an engagement ring, meant for Channing. Jeff
mistakes the situation and loses his temper. He almost slips concerning
the baby which makes Fallon pretty furious. Miles complains to Jason
because he favors Jeff. Zach presents Sable the new hotel, the Excelsior
he's just bought from Dominique and offers her teaching her how
to use the power she will win by the divorce agreement. Miles proposes
to Channing and she happily accepts. Lucas is not too pleased about
losing his "spy", he tells Sable a heap of ugly lies about
her. Sable tries to make Jason interfere, but he refuses. So Sable
decides to fly with Lucas to Las Vegas in order to prevent the wedding.
29.
Something Old, Something New
While Sable and Lucas are on their way to Las Vegas, Channing accidentally
finds out about their plans and persuades Miles to get married already
the same evening. Monica tells Jason about Neil, the plane crash
and that she was unhappily involved with a married man before. A
phone call comes through from Washington, unfortunately it is Cash
Cassidy, whose father was not exactly Jason’s best friend. But Jason
agrees to meet him since Cash wants to talk about Washington and
Jason’s I.M.O.S. space project. Jeff asks Frankie strange questions
about her feelings for Philip when she found out he was not his
son. But neither Frankie nor Monica can make him talk about the
actual story. Nevertheless both Monica and Jeff still want to nail
Zach. Monica visits Mahoney's widow in order to clear the family
name and discovers that she is followed by Zach Powers. Fallon is
still sour that Jeff let himself get carried away by his temper.
Channing persuades Miles to get immediately back to L.A. in order
not to make his father angry, too. Sable for her part warns Channing
not to hurt Miles like Fallon did. Bliss is angry about Nikolai
Rostov's behavior, but his sister Anna reveals to her that he only
pretends because they are watched by KGB spy Sasha Malenkow, their
choreographer. Cash Cassidy brings good news along: Washington will
back I.M.O.S. (internationally meant orbital satellite). Jason is
pleased, but not with Cash as "watch dog" around. Monica
arranges a meeting with Zach and warns him against touching Mrs.
Mahoney in any way. Jason announces to the world that Washington
will back his project. During the press conference, Jason emphasizes
the fact that France, Great Britain, Japan, West Germany and the
USA will be in, but in no case the Soviets. Cash reacts angry and
tries to work on Jason’s attitude. Monica is not happy with Miles’
hasty wedding, but finally promises to give Channing a chance. Jason
meets his new daughter-in-law and confronts her with some dark facts
of her past, but Jason finally burns her file and tells her he only
wants her to make Miles happy. Cash shows up at the party which
Sable is throwing for Miles and Channing. Monica reacts embarrassed,
she once had a secret affair with Cash years ago in Washington.
All desperate, she calls Conny to tell her Cash is back in her life.
30.
The Gala
Channing doesn't seem too pleased about Miles’ plans of starting
a family, she thinks he only wants to compete with Fallon and Jeff.
Besides, she is still tortured by the memory of her mother dying
by giving birth to her brother, but she doesn't mention it to Miles.
Instead, she tries to make friends with Fallon Monica receives a
letter from Conny in which her aunt assures her that the matter
with Cash Cassidy is over and settled so that there is no reason
to worry. Sable prepares her gala evening with the Russian guest
dancers. Frankie offers her help, but Sable makes perfectly clear
that she wouldn't appreciate. Monica and Jeff are still searching
for means to nail Zach, but with lacking success. Cash is annoyed
about Jason’s stubborn, hostile behavior and asks him not to confuse
him with his father. He also tries to get closer to Monica, but
she insists that it's over between them. Miles finds out that Zach
is buying stock of the firm Onishy Electronics and thus tries to
creep into I.M.O.S. Meanwhile Zach tells Sable she must ask her
lawyer to get her class C stock in her divorce agreement, and Arthur
suggests to request those family shares in return for a quick divorce.
Bliss and Nikolai, called Kolia, must still pretend not to like
each other much since Sasha keeps watching them. Jason has to face
a lot of trouble again: Monica refuses to work with Cassidy and
Sable wants him to give Miles a seat on the board of Colby Enterprises.
Jason insists on his daughter's co-operation and tells Sable that
he won't do anything until Miles has proved that he's serious about
his new marriage. So Sable starts working on Channing by trying
to talk her into having a baby as soon as possible, but her new
daughter-in-law is not too delighted about this idea. During the
gala, Kolia confesses to Bliss that he loves her. Frankie feels
useless, she asks Jason to give her a job. Sable is very worried
when she discovers that Miles is still attracted to Fallon. After
a quarrel, Channing confesses to him that she is barren. Miles turns
to Fallon again, he gives her a gift for the baby. Jeff loses control
and starts a scuffle with him which ends in the pool. Jason lets
Zach know that he's bought control over Onishy Electronics. Cash
asks Monica why she ran out of him eight years ago, she desperately
tries to hide her feelings and to resist him. While Jason orders
Cash to stay away from his daughter, Monica runs to Arthur Cates,
all desperate, telling him she wouldn't know what to do if Cash
finds out she had his child .
31.
Bloodlines
Frankie is given a bracelet by Jason, he says he rather needs her
at home than in his business, but Frankie insists on being able
to manage both. Sable is worried about Miles’ sleeping in the guest
room, but Channing turns down any offer to help her. Fallon is frightened
about Jeff's behavior toward Miles, she finally confides to Frankie
that she doesn't know who is the father of her child. Channing tells
Miles that she once was raped and that the abortion made her barren.
Finally they reconcile. Miles has no idea that his wife is taking
birth control pills. Sable is horrified about everything, especially
about Miles’ sudden indifference towards his position and power.
She talks to Channing and after being confronted with the whole
story, too, suggests another examination. Jason decides to get rid
of Cash. Monica doesn't want him to be fired for her sake, but Jason
keeps pretending that he just doesn't want to have him in his project
anymore. Sasha threatens Kolia because of him and Bliss. Sable tells
Jason about Channing and Miles and suggests he should give his son
at least a seat on the board, but Jason sees through her and accuses
her to pursue only her own interests. In Washington, Monica still
refuses to be part of Jason's attempt to get Cash off the project.
Cash is grateful, but then his wife turns up surprisingly. Kolia
is very sad because he will have to leave this freedom and Bliss
behind when he'll go back. Sable is bewildered about Frankie’s and
Jeff's behavior concerning the Fallon's baby and decides to find
out what's behind it. Channing is told that she's perfectly able
to conceive, but she swears Dr. Weaverly not to tell anybody. Adrienne
Cassidy comes to Monica and makes clear that she'll fight harder
than then for her husband. Monica assures in return that everything
is over between Cash and her. Frankie finally convinces Jason to
hire her as chief of protocol due to her diplomatic skills. Sable
questions Dr. Weaverly about Channing. The doctor avoids a concrete
answer, but slips concerning Fallon's state of pregnancy. Sable
manages to get a glimpse at Fallon's file and finds out that "paternity
is uncertain". Remembering the morning Fallon left in a rage
for Denver, she figures out that Miles must be the father of Fallon's
baby.
32.
Deceptions
Jeff dislikes the fact that Miles and LB are getting along so well.
Fallon is indignant when she must state that he is thinking about
an abortion in order to solve the problem with the child. Jason
suggests that Miles might adopt a child since not the blood is important
but the love a child is given. But Sable is already about to apply
her new knowledge. In fact, Arthur Cates can confirm that Miles
has got certain rights as "presumed father". Channing
is confused by Sable's good mood, Frankie rather made nervous, but
she for her part refuses to tell Jason what she knows. Anna is afraid
that Kolia might be reported by Sasha and asks Bliss to stay away
from him. Sable attacks Fallon with strange questions and allusions.
Jason suspects Cash to be the one who gave some information to Zach
who is still trying to get influence on I.M.O.S. Cash confesses
to Monica that he still loves her, but her answer is that emotion
doesn't count with her any more. After Sasha has prevented Bliss
and Kolia from meeting at the hotel, she sadly decides to follow
Anna's advise. She turns him down when he calls the next day. Miles’
confession that he raped Fallon five months ago gives Sable the
final confirmation of her suspicion, she reveals to him that he
is very likely to be her baby's father. Miles is furious and accuses
Fallon of trying to cheat him out of his child. Channing
is not quite happy about the way things turn out. Sable talks to
Jason about the news. He is terrified when he comes to know that
she's already told Miles. He makes Jeff leave in order to prevent
a confrontation. Fallon and Jeff leave together with the helicopter.
Cash tries to convince Monica that he's got only a marriage in name,
she tries not to listen, but her resistance is already dwindling.
Channing is sad and now sure that Miles still loves Fallon, but
Sable promises to help her. Monica talks to Miles about her problems
with Cash, he advises her to protect her own interests. Jason tries
in vain to calm Miles down. The furious young man awaits Fallon
and Jeff on the roof of the Colby Tower, the two brothers start
a brutal row. Finally Miles tumbles over the edge of the roof, Jeff
tries to pull him back but their hands, wet from the rain, start
to slip...
33.
And Baby Makes Four
In the last minute, Miles is saved by Jeff and some security men.
Jason believes Sable responsible for this disaster, and even she
agrees that Miles must learn to control his temper. Monica is scared
to lose Cash again, that's why she is afraid of getting involved
with him again. Bliss forces herself to be reasonable and refuses
to talk to Kolia, but she's hurting badly. Channing and Miles’ relationship
has become very tense as Miles can only think about the baby. He
swears Channing he loves her, but she knows that Fallon is still
between them. Jeff complains to Jason about his brother, he is furious,
although Fallon does her very best to convince him that he is actually
not mean and aggressive. Frankie and Jason must state that the whole
mess with Miles, Jeff and Fallon is almost the same like the trouble
between him, her and Philip once. Kolia is love-sick and desperate,
he sneaks on the Colby grounds in the middle of the night, but he
trips the alarm system before he climbs up to Bliss’ bedroom so
that they get him when he leaves. Jason forbids him to see his daughter
ever again and sends him away. Bliss is deeply hurt, and Sable embarrasses
Jason with the question if he's got special standards in contrary
to the rest of the family. Fallon takes pains over being friendly
with Miles but he starts fighting again and finally she threatens
to have an abortion. Sable accuses Frankie for knowing all along
about the baby. Monica meets Cash and his wife and - for the first
time - his son Scott. They like each other from the first moment.
She has no idea that he is her own baby she gave away once. Zach
watches the scene and contacts Arthur Cates for more information.
Adrienne forbids Cash to let Monica ever know about the facts and
reveals to him that she only agreed then on adopting Scott because
Constance Colby had threatened to remove Cash from the senate. Channing
asks Fallon to go to Denver for a while so that she can sort out
things with Miles, but they end up arguing again and finally Miles
turns up and attacks Channing. Sable doesn't approve of his behavior
at all and is pretty shocked when Miles tells her about Fallon's
plans with the abortion. Miles consults Arthur Cates and is assured
that he has certain rights since he is the presumed father. Jason
asks Frankie to come with him to Brussels as his chief of protocol.
Sable finds out about it and persuades Zach to take her to Brussels,
too. Scott meets Monica again, they quickly make friends, but Adrienne
doesn't seem to like that. Miles, Fallon and Jeff finally agree
on not going to court, but giving Miles every privilege of a father
to be.
34.
Bid For Freedom
Sable is still angry with Jason because of his behavior concerning
Bliss and Kolia, even Frankie is not sure he has done the right
thing. Jeff is worried about Miles and the agreement they have with
him, but Fallon calms him down and suggests a little trip to the
Colby lodge in Lake Arrowhead. Miles is suspicious, he assumes that
they might plan an "accident" causing a miscarriage. Consequently,
he decides to go to the lodge, too, without letting Channing into
his real motives. Monica invites Scott to witness a rocket launching
with her and Cash, Adrienne is very angry about her husband's consent.
Sasha keeps warning Kolia, but the young man pretends not to care.
Bliss for her part tells Sable she loves him and won't accept that
there is no chance for them. Fallon and Jeff arrive at the lodge
- and face an unpleasant surprise: Miles and Channing. Kolia tries
to explain to Bliss that everything is more complicated than she
thinks and Sasha notifies her finally that the Rostovs have go to
go back to Russia the following day. Adrienne comes to Jason for
support, she wants Cash off the project, too, but Jason says he
won't interfere as far as personal matters are concerned. The situation
at the lodge is rather unbearable, but nobody can leave because
of the weather. In the night, Jeff and Channing talk about their
problems. Bliss asks Sable to help her to keep Kolia in America,
they go to Jason at last and push him to do something about the
matter, but he tries to make them see that this is too big for him
and warns Sable to interfere either: Finally he starts pulling all
the strings he's got after all and is told that the Rostovs must
ask for political asylum to get help. Scott enjoys the rocket launching
with Monica and Cash. Cash even tries to confess to Monica, but
the attempt fails. Kolia plans to flee with Anna before they can
be brought to the airport, although his sister is worried what might
happen to their mother back in Russia. Meanwhile Sable asks Zach
to help her keeping Sasha occupied till Jason arrives. The Rostov
siblings try to escape in the lobby, the KGB men follow them and
catch Anna. Kolia and Bliss get trapped in a hotel room on a higher
floor, he finally jumps down the balcony.
35.
Reaching Out
Kolia can escape from Sasha and his men, he asks for political asylum,
but the KGB has got Anna. Kolia asks Jason to stop them, but Sasha
is only ready to cooperate when Jason gets the press and the media
involved. Cash warns Jason that Washington won't respond well to
this interference. Jeff is horrified when Fallon admits she is in
pain. He calls Frankie and asks her to come with the helicopter
in order to get her to a hospital. Channing is furious with Miles
and tells him she hates the baby but she must stay with Fallon when
the two men leave the lodge. Zach tries to blackmail Cash to spy
for him at I.M.O.S. and threatens to tell Monica about Scott if
he doesn't cooperate, but Cash turns him down and decides to tell
Monica himself. Adrienne is horrified while little Scott, who has
no clue about everything, wonders with whom he might live if his
parents divorce. Kolia is allowed to speak to Anna, but she insists
on going home for their mother. The siblings say good bye. Fallon's
state of health gets worse, she asks Channing to get a doctor, but
Channing pretends the line is down. Monica assures Kolia and Bliss
that everything is going to be all right now and that he'll get
protection. Zach confronts Monica with some very strange allusions
about Scott. When finally Adrienne barges into her office and tells
he she will never get "him", but leaves when she notices
that Monica still doesn't know, the young woman becomes suspicious
and consults Arthur Cates. She wants to know where her son is, but
he denies the answer. Frankie arrives at the lodge, they take Fallon
away who is very lucky: She's all right, but Frankie becomes quite
suspicious about Channing when she finds out that the phone line
is perfectly working. Bliss wants Kolia to stay at the Colby house,
Jason hesitates because he doesn't want to spoil his business relations
to the Soviets even more, but finally he agree. Bliss is very content
and so is Sable. Monica calls Conny and gets the final confirmation
that Scott Cassidy is her son. When Cash turns up later to tell
her, she blames him for not telling her earlier and throws him out
before she breaks down with desperation.
36.
Sanctuary
Jason is bewildered when he accidentally comes to know that Conny
secretly took two million dollars from her New Yorker account so
that he shouldn't find out. Monica suffers from bad nightmares about
Scott, but when Sable tries to comfort her she refuses to tell her
the reason for her screaming. Both Sable and Jason are a little
worried. Kolia needs a new partner, he is afraid he won't find an
appropriate substitute for Anna.. Monica meets Scott, it's very
painful for her. Again, she wants to resign from Colby Enterprises,
but Jason doesn't accept. Cash wants Jason to meet with the Soviets
in Toledo which doesn't make Jason quite radiant with joy. Frankie
warns Fallon about Channing, she still thinks that she had something
to do with the "dead line" in the lodge. Kolia tries to
phone home, but they don't let him get through, so Bliss comes to
her father again. First, Jason says it is too risky for him, but
then he decides to make a deal concerning this matter and the meeting
with the Soviets. Cash notifies Zach that Monica knows everything
now and warns him to attack him ever again. Jason and Jeff are worried
about Conny who seems to be disappeared. Meanwhile, Zach surprises
Sable with the news that Scott Cassidy is Monica’s son. Sam Erskin,
Lucas Carter's lawyer comes to Channing and tries to get her to
spy for her uncle, but she refuses. Sable is angry with Miles because
of his headless action with the trip to the lodge and makes him
see that he'll need Channing to get custody for the baby. Channing
assures Miles that she wants Fallon's baby to be his child and that
she will help to raise it because she loves him. Jason receives
a message from Conny in which she asks him to meet her in New Delhi,
India. Sable asks Monica if it's true that Scott is her son. They
talk and Sable suggests not to tell Jason about it for the time
being. Jason is very worried since Conny still can't be find anywhere.
Monica and Cash talk about Scott. Sable is unspeakably angry with
Arthur Cates because he kept the matter with Scott a secret and
asks him to help her to clear up the whole mess now. When they find
out that Conny and Hutch had chartered a plane but didn’t return
yet, Jeff and Miles decide to fly to New Delhi in order to track
them down.
37.
Power Plays
Jason is voted to be the "man of the year", but he can't
enjoy that too much, he's still searching for Conny. Sable is jealous
since Jason is going to take Frankie with him on his business trip
to Toledo. She calls Adrienne Cassidy and invites her for lunch
during which she tries to persuade the woman to leave Scott to the
Colbys. But Adrienne turns her down furiously and complains to Monica
for having set up her mother against her. Monica is shocked and
wants to talk, but Adrienne makes pretty clear that Scott is hers
and will always be. Sam Erskin turns up at the Colby Mansion and
tries to get information from Frankie. Jeff is told that Conny and
Hutch have left with the money on plane to a reservation in Katmandu,
Nepal. Fallon insinuates to Channing that she might have lied in
the lodge in order to get rid of the baby. Channing is very hurt.
Monica asks her mother furiously to stay out of her private life.
Sable is very angry, not at least because Zach, too, thinks that
Monica must decide herself what to do. But he gives her some instructions
for her first board meeting. Sam Erskin blackmails Channing for
information about Jason’s business. Sable and Bliss finally succeed
in finding a new partner for Kolia: It's Georgina Sinclair, a quite
attractive dancer he knows from New York. Cash assures Jason that
there are no problems with the Soviets any more, but then Lucas’
newspaper accuses Jason of selling out his country. Jason visits
Sam Erskin an warns him not to go too far. Sable enjoys her big
showing up at her first board meeting. She protects her and Zach's
interests and performs a very embarrassing show. Jason is furious
about it and even more horrified to learn that he, she and Zach
now own Onishy Electronics share and share alike. Monica doesn't
want to hurt Adrienne, but Cash wants her, him and Scott finally
to be a family. In Katmandu, Jeff and Miles find out that Conny
met with a strange monk who turns out to be American or English
and called Hoyt Parker. Sable and Zach celebrate at the Excelsior.
Jason is there, too, and reproaches Zach to use Sable for his purposes.
Zach offers to call Sable off if Jason let him be part of I.M.O.S..
A long distance call interrupts them, it's Jeff: Conny is dead.
38.
The Legacy
Miles and Jeff return with the horrible news that Conny and Hutch
have most likely died in a plane crash. They could only find out
that they had met with a certain Mr. Parker, but they couldn't track
him down. Jason is very sad and denies even Frankie’s company. Fallon
tries to comfort Jeff. Sable feels no loss, but at least pretends
to be sad in order to tell Jason she is sorry about her acting against
Conny. Hoyt Parker arrives in Los Angeles. A memory service takes
place for Hutch and Conny, even Zach attends it. According to Conny’s
will, Miles gets her seat on the board of Colby Enterprises and
all her voting power, he's happy to be finally trusted by somebody.
Sable enjoys her triumph over Frankie, but she must state that Miles
has no intention to use his new power to support her interests.
Cash and Adrienne's marriage is falling apart more and more. Cash
and Adrienne's marriage is falling apart more and more. Channing
complains to Miles that Fallon refuses to make friends with her
although she tried really hard. Kolia’s partner Gina tries to make
Bliss pretty jealous, she arranges that Bliss catches her kissing
Kolia. Scott catches his mother drinking again, and Adrienne uses
this opportunity to let him know that his father’s indifference
towards her is due to Monica. Jason receives threatening letters.
He is sure that the articles in Carter's newspapers which reproached
him with selling his country out to the Soviets are responsible
for it. Miles lets Jeff know that he is ready to get everything
back Jeff had "stolen" from him. In order to distract
Jason from his sorrow, Frankie suggest a little holiday in Eureka
on the Colby ranch. Sable is hurt by Miles’ behavior and complains
to Zach for having nothing now, not at least since Jason is no longer
interested in Onishy Electronics but in another firm called Syncrodine.
Scott turns up in Monica’s office with a very hostile expression
on his face and returns her magazines to her. She is all confused.
Jason and Frankie are attacked by a strange gun man in Eureka.
39.
The Home Wrecker
Frankie and Jason defend themselves and manage to chase the gun
man away, not knowing that it was Hoyt Parker. They return to Bel
Air, Frankie feels guilty since the idea with the trip was hers.
Jeff suggests personal protection for Jason. Sable suggests Monica
to tell Jason about Scott, but her daughter recognizes very clearly
that Sable only hopes for Jason’s interference and swears never
to speak to her again if she tells him. Jeff is worried about the
way Miles is acting ever since he has inherited Conny’s shares.
Hoyt Parker is snooping around and looking for information, obviously
against Jason. Kolia swears to Bliss that nothing has happened between
him and Gina, they reconcile. Jason wonders what Conny and Hoyt
Parker might have had in common. Fallon is planning to start working
again, she's sick and tired of just hanging around doing nothing.
Monica thinks the idea is gorgeous, but Jeff is of the opinion that
she is occupied enough with her pregnancy. Jason blames Sable for
telling Zach about his buying Syncrodine so that he could insinuate
himself into the business, too. Jeff thinks that Zach has also something
to do with the attempted murder on Jason, but Powers defends himself
furiously by declaring he wants Jason alive for his revenge, not
dead. Kolia moves out in order to gain some privacy for him and
Bliss. Unfortunately Gina is around when they make an appointment...
Channing keeps refusing to support any of Lucas’ dirty tricks, not
even since he has recently signed over her trust to her. Sable accuses
Zach of destroying Colby Enterprises and thus of fighting her, too.
Instead of a reasonable explanation he asks her to marry him and
gives her an engagement ring which she accepts, but she says she
needs time to think about an answer. Cash wants to marry Monica,
but she says she can't for Scott’s sake. Scott runs away from home.
Channing warns Jason that her uncle Lucas is fairly dangerous and
ruthless. Frankie is worried about Jason, too, but he finally moves
back to her into the pool house. Nevertheless, he is kind of shocked
about Sable's engagement to Zach. Gina arranges that Bliss finds
her half naked in Kolia’s bathroom. Bliss runs away. Adrienne turns
up at Jason’s all excited to tell him and Frankie that Scott is
gone and that Monica should start looking for him - since she is
his mother.
40.
Manhunt
Monica asks Cash not to push her, but he assures thinks that Scott
needs her. At the Colby Mansion, they are confronted with Scott’s
disappearance and the fact that Jason knows now about his grandson.
Monica is desperate, but Frankie tells her that she won't help Scott
by sulking around and finally Monica comes up with the idea that
Scott might be at the observatory. They find him there, but the
boy tells Monica he hates her. Sable and Jason blame themselves
for not having noticed what was going on with their daughter then.
Especially Jason is disappointed about Monica and Conny keeping
it a secret from him. Jeff is still sad about Conny’s death, Fallon
comforts him. Bliss complains to Sable that Kolia is betraying her
with Gina and that he has probably used them all, but Sable doesn't
believe it. Monica comes to Jason, they talk about Scott, but they
don't find a solution for the problem. Adrienne assures Cash that
he will lose Scott if he leaves her. Jeff is determined to find
out what happened to Conny and Hutch. He visits Hoyt Parker's mother
in Boise, Idaho, but she says she didn’t hear from Hoyt since Vietnam.
Kolia requests a new partner because he loves Bliss. Sable tells
Bliss about it and Bliss, who knows now that the whole thing was
Gina's doing, takes revenge: Miss Sinclair ends up sitting in Kolia’s
birthday cake. Frankie receives a strange phone call, she doesn't
know it's Hoyt Parker. Sable wants to pull Cash on her side concerning
Scott and Adrienne, but he repeats that he won't appreciate her
interference. Miles tries to force Sam Erskin to apologize for the
story in Lucas’ newspaper and even threatens him that he'll get
back at him if something were to happen to Jason. Sable keeps trying
to convince Monica that Adrienne is the worst sort of mother with
her medical addiction and her suicide attempts. Bliss and Kolia
reconcile. After the end of the first meeting of the I.M.O.S. conference,
someone shoots at Jason, but Cash protects him and takes the bullet
for him.
41.
All Fall Down
Cash is badly injured. The doctors can't remove the bullet immediately
and face the possibility that he might remain partly paralyzed.
Fallon is worried after the incident, she cannot reach Jeff. Channing
finds some of LB's marbles on the staircase and asks Fallon to make
sure he won't do it again. Again, they end up in a quarrel about
Miles and Fallon's baby. Miles joins Monica and Jason in the hospital,
he tries to call Sable, but she's with Zach and not available. The
police find a bus ticked to Eureka in the assassin's pocket and
believe he is the gun man who tried to kill Jason the other time.
Jeff returns, Fallon is relieved. Frankie and Jason are also glad
that they can be sure it was no conspiracy. He gives her an engagement
ring. Zach pushes Sable again for an answer to his proposal, but
then she reads in the newspaper about Jason and runs away to her
ex-husband, telling him she couldn't live without him. The more
painful is it for her to discover that Frankie and Jason are engaged
now. Parker invests $ 2.000.000 in Colby Enterprises. Jason is very
grateful that Cash saved his live. He speaks to the unconscious
man to admit that he was entirely wrong about him. When Adrienne
and Scott visit Cash later, he is still unconscious but asks for
Monica. Jason tries desperately to talk Sable out of the idea of
marrying Zach, he warns her that he is just using her and very dangerous.
Jeff finds out that someone bought a hugh share of Colby Enterprises
stock and suspects Zach who is indignant to be always blamed of
being behind every problem of the Colby family. Sable in her turn
tells him she is not able to rush from one marriage into the next
just like that. Zach gives her a last ultimatum of 24 hours. While
Cash is operated, Scott lets Monica know that he didn’t mean what
he said to her in the night he ran away. Jeff finds out that it
was Parker who bought the stock. Cash has got over the operation
and is already recovering. When Adrienne and Scott visit him, he
asks for Monica who is very glad that he's still alive. Channing
tries to make Jeff recognize that their problem is that Miles still
loves Fallon. She's afraid that Fallon might still care for Miles,
too, but Jeff doesn't listen to her. Fallon attacks him as well
and ask him to do something about the unbearable situation, they
get into a fight and finally Jeff leaves the room. Fallon follows
him, Channing wants to stop her and to apologize, but then Fallon
trips on the stairs and falls. Miles finds her - and Channing standing
at the top of the staircase.
42.
Guilty Party
Fallon is brought to the hospital, she's badly in pain, but Miles
stays at her side. Channing notifies Jason and Frankie about the
accident, they head for the hospital, too. Meanwhile, Jeff who has
fled to the bar of the Excelsior, must discover he sat right next
to Hoyt Parker. He takes a call which comes in for Parker and is
not too surprised to recognize Zach's voice at the other end of
the line. Jeff tries to follow Parker, but is stopped by the police
for driving too fast. Fallon is desperate, she wants Jeff, but only
Miles is there to comfort her. Dr. Banks tells her she must choose
either to have a caesarian or to risk the baby's life. Fallon chooses
the c-section. Sable tries to calm down Miles and must recognize
that he'd rather lose the child than Fallon. Kolia is trying to
turn himself into a real American, but Bliss is a bit critical concerning
the way he tries to realize his intention. Jeff meets his parents
at the hospital and breaks the news about Parker to them. In spite
of all arguments, Frankie and Sable kind of reconcile since they
recognize that they are both afraid for the child, for Fallon and
for what will happen. Fallon gives birth to a little girl. She's
quite worried as the baby was premature but Jeff is very optimistic.
. Jason, Jeff and Miles are sure now that it was Hoyt Parker who
sat next to Jeff at the bar and Jason has the terrible suspicion
that Zach Powers has also something to do with Conny’s death. Zach
calls Parker again, he wants to offer him to act against Jason together,
but Parker turns him surprisingly down. Channing is horrified about
the fact that Frankie still believes she'd pushed Fallon. She complains
to Miles, but must state that he doesn't trust her either. Furiously
she declares that their marriage is over. Sable and Monica meet
at the hospital and for the first time talk abut Monica’s pregnancy
and Scott’s birth. Jason barges into Zach's office and swears that
he'll kill him if he'll find out that he had something to do with
Conny’s death. The concern for the baby seems to sort of reconcile
almost all family members. Even Jeff and Sable take a fire-break.
When Jason visits Fallon, she asks him if he would mind if she made
her daughter's middle name Constance. LB confesses to Miles that
he was the one who left the marbles on the staircase. Miles is very
relieved, he begs Channing, who is already packing, not to go. Then,
he's summoned to come to the hospital: Dr. Banks informs him and
Jeff that the baby has taken a turn for the worse since it has developed
RDS (respiratory distress syndrome). The next five days will decide
if she will live or die.
43.
Fallon's Baby
Fallon and Jeff are still told that there is nothing to do but to
wait. Fallon is terrified to lose her child. But she doesn't want
Frankie to postpone her wedding for her. Kolia takes Bliss to an
orthodox church where they pray together for Fallon's child. Jason
tries to encourage Miles by telling him he went through the same
fears with him when he and Monica were born. Zach wants Sable to
give up on all her impossible dreams, but she is already at the
process of investigating Adrienne Cassidy's life. Adrienne notifies
Cash she'll go back to Washington - with Scott. Sable witnesses
the unpleasant scene and tries again to talk Cash into co-operating
with her, but he refuses. Monica, too, opposes Sable's intentions,
she's afraid of not getting over losing her boy again. Channing
comes to visit Fallon in hospital, but Fallon treats her very harshly
and asks her to stay away from her and her baby. Jeff attacks Channing,
too, after speaking with Fallon, he believes she was not honest
with him in the night at the lodge. Channing is desperate to have
nobody at hand to help her. Scott blames himself for the failure
of his parents’ marriage although Cash does his best to explain.
Jason tells Cash he want him to stay with I.M.O.S. now, but Cash
thinks it's because of Scott and mentions Sable's intervention.
Jason speaks to Sable and tries to make her see she won't help anybody
with her interference. Miles complains to Jeff about how he treated
Channing and tells him LB had left the marbles on the staircase.
Frankie wonders if the wedding will change anything, especially
Sable's staying at the mansion. Zach is pushing Sable towards an
decision about his proposal, but she's too busy with hurting over
Jason’s planned marriage with Frankie. Hoyt Parker is collecting
information about the Colbys. Monica is worried about Jeff's doggedness
about tracking down Hoyt Parker Dr. Banks tells that the little
girl has turned the corner, she'll live. Fallon and Jeff are happy,
trying to convince each other that the baby is theirs. Cash must
tell Monica that there is no realistic hope for their love because
he doesn't want to hurt Scott. Bliss is annoyed when she finds out
that Kolia is not ready to give up his freedom and marry her now.
Jason keeps trying to convince Sable that she will drive her children
away from her by interfering with their lives. Then, the result
of the blood test is available: Jeff is the father of Fallon's baby.
44.
Answered Prayers
Miles refuses to accept the fact that Fallon's daughter is not his
baby, but Jeff reproaches him with the fact that the whole mess
was his fault anyway. Sable notifies Jason about the news, she's
bitter and blames him that he never wanted Miles to be the father.
Fallon and Jeff are happy. Frankie burns Philip's letters in order
to finish with her past, but both she and Jason find that it is
not too easy to let entirely go of their former partners. Back home,
Fallon apologizes to Channing for suspecting her, they decide to
give their friendship another try, and Channing asks for help concerning
Miles. Miles is sad and disillusioned, he's very hard on Channing
and accuses her of having wished for the baby being not his. Sable
is afraid of signing the divorce papers, but Zach cheers her up
and suggests to take her away when the wedding takes place in Los
Angeles. Miles apologizes to Channing for his behavior. Badly hurt
by his desperation, she finally decides secretly to have a baby
and throws her birth control pills away. Sable encourages Miles
to get free from Fallon finally and to concentrate on Channing.
Miles, for his part, can't believe that Sable really wants to marry
Zach. Sable and Jason are signing the divorce papers and decide
to part friends, but Sable tells him again that Frankie won't make
him happy. Bliss says she won't betray her mother by taking part
in Jason’s wedding, he's disappointed. Frankie wants to make up
for everything with Sable before the wedding, but her sister makes
fairly clear she'll never forgive her for what she has done. Miles
and Monica are worried about Sable's plan with Zach. Besides, Monica
thinks that something strange must have happened to Conny in Katmandu
according to what she wrote in her last letter. Jeff is happy about
the wedding of his parents. For Monica, it is hard, but she assures
Jason that she's happy for him at least, but that she is sad because
it seems to be too complicated with her and Cash. Miles tells Channing
he loves her and thanks for her standing by during the passed months.
The wedding company gathers, even Bliss has changed her mind and
attends it. In Marrakech, Morocco, Sable is counting the minutes
until the wedding in L.A. takes place, Zach is slightly angry about
her. Suddenly a shooting star turns up at the sky and both wish
for something... The wedding ceremony in L.A. comes to a sudden
end when Frankie recognizes Philip Colby, her first husband who
had been believed dead, among the guests. She faints...

return, especially Jason wonders why he chose their wedding day
of all days. Surprisingly, Philip and Jeff get along very well from
the first moment. Sable and Zach are just making plans to get married
the next morning, when Monica calls and notifies them about the
called-off wedding. Fallon can't understand Jeff's attitude towards
Philip. The maid Enid brings Miles Channing's birth control pills
which she had thrown away. Philip tells Jason he came back because
of Conny’s death, but Jason believes that he wanted to wreck his
wedding. First he says he does not want him to stay at the mansion,
but after a second thought it occurs to him that Philip is a Colby,
too, and that he has a right to stay, although Frankie doesn't seem
to agree with that. Jason tells his brother he can stay, and Philip
asks him for a job at Colby Enterprises. Zach doesn't accompany

come home for their ill mother, but lets him know through a secret
hint that this is only an attempt of the KGB to lure him back. Sable
and Philip, still good friends, meet again. She confirms that Frankie
does really love Jason, but he manages to awake some doubts in her
about that. Dr. Banks tells Fallon and Jeff that their little daughter
Lauren is able to be taken home very soon. Miles is furious and
desperate because of Channing, he complains to Fallon that everything
went wrong in his life ever since he fell in love with her. Jason
discovers by accident that Philip and Hoyt Parker have the same
handwriting. Channing wants to surprise Miles with the fact that
there is a chance for her to have a child now and must discover
he knows already that she has deluded him. Zach suggests Adrienne
Cassidy to solve their problems together. Philip visits Frankie
in the pool house. Although she's fighting it, they come close and
kiss, unaware of the fact that they are watched by Sable.

Colby estate, Frankie is definitively against it. What worries him
even more is Jeff's intention to give his shares to Philip. Zach
wants to meet Sable, she turns him down. She and Philip remember
the past, she tries to find out if he is still in love with Frankie,
and Philip notices very well that she wants Jason back. Channing
is desperate, she tells Miles about her fear of dying in child birth
like her mother, but Miles is not sure if he can ever trust her
again. Jeff shows Fallon a new house where he wants to live with
her and the kids, but she recognizes that this is just another move
against Jason and insists that they belong to their family. Sable
questions Frankie about a new date for the wedding and about Philip
being the reason for postponing it. Jason pretends to try to find
a suitable work for Philip at Colby Enterprises. Monica happens

his need for money, even more when he is told that he would lose
$ 300.000 by selling his Colby Enterprises shares now. He can't
believe how lucky he is when Jeff tells him he wants to give him
one third of his stock. Jason meets Roger Langdon in Singapore and
asks for help, but must find out that his predecessor is still angry
about Frankie. Nevertheless Roger gives him a hint where Jason can
find Maya Kumara, the ex-mistress of Hoyt Parker, who gives him
the final proof that Philip is Hoyt Parker, that he was running
guns and that everyone of his business partners thought he was dead.
Channing feels guilty, but Miles says he understands her being afraid.
Adrienne terrorizes Monica with perverted calls in the middle of
the night. Philip molests Frankie again, she runs away, frightened
by the attraction he still has on her. Bliss asks her mother to
deny Kolia’s request to be released from his contract in order to

him definitively as Hoyt Parker.
47.
Betrayals
The family is shocked about Philip's double identity as Hoyt Parker
for Jason still thinks that Hoyt Parker was the one who killed Conny.
Philip denies to have anything to do with it, but he admits that
he used the name of a comrade who had introduced him into the business
and died of malaria after they had escaped from the prison in Vietnam.
Unfortunately he had lost the guns and was threatened to be killed,
so Conny gave him the two million dollars. And he admits now he
came back because of Jason and Frankie. Jason asks Philip to leave
immediately. Fallon is on Jason’s side while Jeff is very disappointed

to blackmail him with the fact. Jeff is concerned why the wedding
of his parents is still postponed, his father for his part is furious
that Jeff wants to give Philip $ 300.000 in spite of knowing what
he's going to do with it. But Jeff wants to save Philip's life.

family. Indignant, Sable attacks Zach, blames him for acting against
her interests and her children and returns the engagement ring to

to persuade Jason not to sue him and threatens to destroy her marriage
if she doesn't cooperate, but she informs him that she's pregnant
and turns him down. Jason is tortured by the memories of him and
