The Celebration
When the Colbys return from Blake's party in Denver where the pipeline
project has been made public, the first tensions start to develop:
Jason's wife Sable tells him she won't put up with Conny's gift
to "outsider" Jeff since her own three children
will suffer a loss. Although Jason asks her to stay out of this,
she tries to persuade her sister-in-law to give a second thought
about what she has done - in vain. In Denver, Jeff finally decides
to move to California in order to find Fallon whom he has seen driving
away with his cousin Miles the previous evening. Conny is worried
for her brother Jason’s state of health. She is still the only one
who knows about his sickness. Finally she asks Jeff's mother Francesca,
called Frankie, who lives in London, to come back and to support
Jeff, but she refuses. Jeff arrives in California and runs into
his uncle Jason. From the first moment, he makes perfectly clear
that he is not going to be his errand boy. Jason and his lawyer
Garrett Boydston want to find out who is behind the rumors in China
which made Blake Carrington believe that Colby Enterprises won't
be capable to transport Denver Carrington's oil. Jason’s daughter
Monica offers to snoop around, but Jason rejects the suggestion
of the young lawyer, obviously because she is a woman which makes
her very angry. In Bakersfield, California, Conny meets her boy-friend
Hutch Corrigan, who doesn't know she's a wealthy lady. Frankie finally
decides to leave London and her friend Roger Langdon for Los Angeles
after all. Jeff and Monica talk about her twin brother Miles and
Fallon, she hardly believes he is right. Jason finds out that his
old enemy Zach Powers is behind the trouble in China. He warns Zach
to keep off his business . Fallon who is still suffering from amnesia,
and Miles are staying in Lake Tahoe, Nevada. She is almost raped
by a drunken stranger, but Miles saves her. Jason warns his young
daughter Bliss not to get too much involved with the interests of
her boy friend Sean McAllister whose organization Clean Earth opposes
Jason’s business. Monica complains to her mother about being treated
unequally, but Sable tries to make her see that her ideas are rather
unlikely to come true one day. Jason and Sable are a little worried
about Miles’ disappearance. When the family gathers, Sable shows
quite clearly that she doesn't relish the idea of Jeff staying in
L.A.. Jeff doesn't care much about that, but he is pretty angry
when Jason starts attacking the character of his father Philip again
who had never returned from Vietnam. In the middle of their argument,
Miles turns up - together with his new bride, Randall Colby.
2.
Conspiracy Of Silence
The family is very surprised about Miles’ marriage and even shocked
when they learn that the new Mrs.Miles Colby is Jeff's former wife
Fallon Carrington. While Jason is blaming Miles for having married
a girl without memory, Sable seems to be quite happy to see her
son together with the daughter of one of the richest men of the
country. Conny asks her friend Dr. Jimmy Lee Parris for help concerning
Fallon. The psychiatrist tries to persuade the young woman to have
another look at Blake's house in Denver which frightened her so
much, but Fallon panics when he only mentions the idea. He tells
the family not to push her to get her memory back. Blake is notified
by Jeff that Fallon is alive. He comes to California, but contrary
to his firm conviction Fallon does not recognize her father. Frankie
arrives in Bel Air and meets her son Jeff again for the first time
after many years, but must state that he still bears her grudges
for leaving him with his uncle Cecil at the age of three. Conny
encourages her to give him time. Miles and Jason get into a fight
again when Jason wants his son to fly to Hong Kong for him and to
leave Fallon in California. Blake asks Jason to take care of Fallon.
Concerning business, he is less confiding as he has discovered that
Jason is very likely to need Zach Powers’ super tankers to transport
his oil. Sable and her sister Francesca celebrate their reunion,
but Sable doesn't bother to hide that she wouldn't appreciate if
Frankie stayed too long in Los Angeles. At least Jason seems to
be glad to see her again. Zach Powers comes to Sable's art gallery,
the Colby Collection, and shows very frankly his fascination for
both her paintings and herself. Before Blake leaves, he asks Conny
to look after Fallon who still does not recognize him but they have
become sort of friends. Sable wants to buy a Matisse for two million
dollars for the Colby Collection. Jason hesitates, but finally agrees
since "life is too short." Monica warns Miles not to rely
too much on his hope that nothing will change when Fallon will get
her memory back, she doesn't want to see him hurt. Jeff and "Randall"
have quickly become friends. He redeems the jewelry she had pounded
when she came to L.A. and she responds very gratefully to this nice
gesture, but Miles orders his cousin never ever to touch his wife
again.
3.
Moment Of Truth
On Thanksgiving Day, Dr. Maurice Boland confronts Jason with the
bad news that another specialist has confirmed that he has left
only six more months to live. Consequently Jason gives Miles 10%
of Colby Enterprises as wedding gift for him and Fallon, but he
still keeps the tragic facts about himself a secret. Frankie wants
to bridge the gap between her and Jeff. She offers her help concerning
Fallon, but her son keeps being very hard on her and by telling
her he does not need her anymore now. Monica tries to convince Jeff
that Fallon loves Miles now and that he should give up on her. Miles
wants to flee the tension and suggests Fallon to take her away for
a honeymoon, but she wants to stay in L.A. Frankie and Jason meet
in the middle of the night and remember their very short affair
they had a lifetime ago. Suddenly Sable turns up, but she obviously
isn't suspicious. Miles asks his mother to stay out of his life,
but Sable is determined to help him. During lunch, she tries to
talk Fallon into having a baby as soon as possible, which her new
daughter-in-law refuses because she feels she must first find out
who she is. Sable for her part appeals friendly but very unmistakably
to Jeff's reason to move out, but Conny interferes and tells Sable
that this will only happen over her dead body. Jason warns Bliss’
boy friend Sean not to use her for his political purposes. Sean
is indignant about his behavior and get into an argument with Bliss,
but in the end they forget about Jason and reconcile. On the next
occasion, Sable blames Frankie for intruding into her family and
her affairs and accuses her of conspiring with Conny in order to
help Jeff. Frankie is determined to leave after that, but Jason
manages to persuade her to stay - for his sake. Zach makes Miles
present a business offer of Powers Shipping to Jason. Again father
and son clash with one another, because Jason almost blames him
for talking to Zach. By chance, Sable gets hold of the laboratory
report of Jason’s doctors and is thunderstruck. At the same time,
Dr. Boland breaks the news to Jason that everything about his sickness
was a computer error: He is perfectly healthy.
4.
Family Album
Fallon is desperately trying to remember who she is, but not even
her necklace helps her. She and Jeff come to talk about his former
wife Fallon, whom he has lost, and their son. Miles interrupts the
discussion and accuses Jeff later of forcing Fallon to get her memory
back. Zach offers Jason again his tankers to ship Blake's oil, but
Jason only orders him to stay away from his son. Monica also repeats
her offer, she still wants to go to China and check the situation
for Jason, but must face again the fact that her father does only
rely on men. Bliss asks Sean to come to Jason’s party, but he doesn't
agree. Sable apologizes for her behavior towards Frankie, but tries
to make her talk to Conny about her gift to Jeff. Frankie refuses
of course. Arthur Cates reveals to Sable that the only possibility
to force Conny to redo her generous "mistake" would be
to prove that she is mentally incompetent. Jeff calls Blake and
asks to bring LB along. Hutch gives Conny a wonderful bracelet and
surprises her with a motor home he has bought for them, but Conny
must refuse to come with him because of the problems at home. Monica
promises Dominique to find out if Jason is behind the buying of
Titania Records stock. Sable keeps trying to convince Conny that
she has made the wrong decision, but Conny is more occupied with
searching for her new bracelet. LB arrives with Blake in California.
He meets Fallon, but she does not recognize her son. The maid Katie
brings Sable Conny’s bracelet which Conny has dropped accidentally.
Sable keeps it and thinks of using it for her plans. Blake is quite
sour since it has turned out that Jason in fact isn't capable to
ship all his oil. He swears that he'll accept Zach's help if Jason
can't fulfill the contract. Frankie meets LB and wants to make friends
with her grandson, but Jeff shows very clearly that he doesn't appreciate.
Jason tries to comfort her and invites her for lunch. Sable joins
them finally to tell Jason she's worried about Conny who appears
to confuse many things lately. Monica informs Dominique that her
admirer Garrett Boydston has bought the Titania Records stock, not
Jason. Miles is very unpleased by watching Fallon's attempts to
remember her past. At the party, Dominique discloses to Garrett
that she knows about his strange action, but they don't get into
a serious fight. Jason warns Zach not to double-cross him again.
Bliss complains to Jason about the fact that he and Sean don't get
along at all. Dominique offers Monica to lead her firm Titania Records
for her in order to give her the possibility to apply her abilities.
Fallon asks Blake if they had met before, he keeps his answer rather
vague. Sable thinks that Zach has just tried to get better acquainted
with her for the sake of his business with Jason, but he finally
even manages to persuade her to dance with him. LB shows Fallon
the family album - where she discovers herself. She's shocked, blames
Jeff and Miles for deluding her and drives furiously off with the
car. Miles swears he'll kill Jeff if something happens to her.
5.
Shadow Of The Past
Miles and Jeff are looking for Fallon and blame each other for her
disappearance. Jason stops their fight and involves Dr. Parris without
knowing that Fallon is already on her way to consult the psychiatrist.
Adam Carrington arrives in California, he meets Zach to discuss
the possibility of using his ships in case Jason is not able to
fulfill his contract. Jason is quite sour when he finds out about
it and tells Adam to check with him first next time. Fallon is all
confused. Dr. Parris suggests to make her remember her past by narco
synthesis. Jason is informed and finally agrees with this idea.
Bliss and Sable get into a little argument about her constant absence
and the daughter complains that she feels shut out since she seems
to be the only one without any special quality. Frankie confesses
to Jeff that his Uncle Cecil kind of forced her to leave Jeff with
him then. Sable encourages Miles to watch his interests and to found
the "Colby-Carrington-Dynasty" with Fallon, but he doesn't
seem to be very interested in power. So Sable takes measures herself:
she wants to make Jason believe that Conny is going senile. Before
a ride, she looses her saddle girth, but it terrified when Frankie
takes the horse, who almost suffers a bad accident. Jeff saves her,
they reconcile. Conny feels guilty for Frankie’s fall, she starts
doubting her own abilities. Jeff is puzzled by Adam's urgent request
to see Fallon, but his sister is with Dr. Parris anyway. Monica
leaves Colby Enterprises in order to start over at Titania Records,
which hurts Jason very much, but she tries to make him understand
that she is sick and tired of standing on the pedestal he put her
on and just being treated as the boss’ pretty little daughter. Under
the influence of the narco synthesis, Fallon remembers the day she
wanted to remarry Jeff and that she was raped by somebody before
she ran away. At Titania Records Monica runs into the previous holder
of her position Neil Kittredge who doesn't hide that he is sour
to lose his job to her. Miles picks up Fallon from Parris’ clinic.
When she is confronted with Adam at the mansion, she claims to remember
that he was the one who raped her then and faints.
6.
A House Divided
Jeff believes that Adam has raped Fallon, they get into a brutal
fight until Jason stops them and Adam, who seems to be almost more
shocked than Fallon, leaves for Denver. Sable keeps convincing her
husband that something is wrong with Conny, but Jason gets tired
of her attacks and complains to Frankie how greedy and selfish his
wife has become. Frankie encourages him to give his marriage another
chance, but Jason seems to be more interested in Frankie. With Dr.
Parris’ help, Fallon finally remembers that Adam didn’t rape her,
but that the feelings she once had for him had caused her hysterical
amnesia. Zach and Jason sign a contract for the case that Jason
can't ship all of Blake's oil. Sean turns out to be set up on Bliss
by his uncle Zach Powers who is eager to get information about Colby
Enterprises, but as Sean loves Bliss really he wants out now. Zach
refuses angrily. Hutch's pride is deeply hurt since Conny wanted
to give him the $ 200.000 which he paid for the motor home. He tells
her he has returned the money and that he is not willing to take
money from a woman at all. Unfortunately Sable is notified about
the money transaction and starts investigations. Fallon asks Jeff
not to push her, she needs time to turn the two souls inside her
back into one person. Miles, who is determined to keep Fallon, watches
them and reacts very jealously, he orders Jeff again to stay away
from Fallon and asks his wife to make up her mind. Furiously, he
agrees now to go to Hong Kong for Jason Sable reveals to Monica
that Conny is involved with a con man with a criminal record and
that he had probably tried to extort the $ 200.000 of her. Zach
arranges another meeting with Sable, but she still keeps her distance
from him. Frankie wants to prevent Jeff from being too sure about
Fallon and from suffer a disappointment, but her success is rather
poor. Sable informs Jason about Conny and the "con man";
and that she has taken first steps to have her declared mentally
incompetent. Jason is terrified and leaves their bed room.
7.
The Reunion
Frankie is not happy that Jason tries to reanimate their relationship,
she doesn't want to disturb her sister's marriage. Miles watches
her and Jason during their ride and gets suspicious. Fallon is scarcely
able to bear the tense situation with Miles being so impatient.
She considers to go home to Denver with Jeff for a few days, which
makes Miles even more furious. Conny advises her to stop running
away. Sable is disappointed that Miles refuses to accept her plans
concerning Conny, too. Fallon calls her father in Denver to let
him know she has got her memory back. Blake is happy. Sable tries
to make Jason understand why she had to do what she did, like, but
he has recognized meanwhile that he can't put up with the way she's
changed. He makes clear that he will fight her for Conny and moves
out of their room. Monica and Neil have another fight about business,
Dominique interrupts them and is very annoyed about the lack of
self control of her two top executors. Sean and Bliss continue their
relationship and Sean asks Zach again to let him go. His uncle reacts
furious this time and throws him out. Monica and Miles worry about
Conny because of what their mother has told them. Finally Monica
goes to Bakersfield and accuses Hutch of attempted extortion. On
this occasion, she he finds out who Conny really is. He feels used
and insulted and tells Conny harshly that they are through. Conny
is furious, but Garrett fears that it won't be easy to fight Sable
and her lawyer Arthur Cates without risking a scandal for the whole
family. Dominique and Garrett continue their romance, but she still
keeps it a secret from him that they have a daughter. Zach meets
a certain Mr. Livadas, the captain of one of Jason’s tankers and
blackmails him to do him another favor. LB and Blake come to California
and are reunited with Fallon. Blake advises her to come back to
Denver in order to avoid all the trouble with Jeff and Miles, but
she refuses, and Jeff promises him to win her back in California.
Miles offers the annulment of their marriage to Fallon in order
to be fair. Sable is horrified about this idea, but Miles forbids
her to interfere. Meanwhile Conny receives a summons from court.
Sable declares that she can avoid a trial by undoing her gift to
Jeff, but Conny does not even think about it. Nobody sees to side
with her. Finally, Sable asks Frankie to take Jeff and to leave
so that she can save her and her son's marriage which is the final
impulse for Frankie to leave, although Blake asks her to stay for
Jeff's sake. Blake and Jason must recognize that they now have trouble
on either end of the pipeline now: The injunction and Jason’s tankers.
Jason follows Frankie to the Five Oaks Inn, they talk. Jason states
that he has married the wrong woman and that he still loves Frankie.
When they embrace, they have no idea that Miles have followed them
and witnesses the scene.
8.
Fallen Idol
Frankie and Jason haven't spent the night together and she still
refuses to intrude into her sister's marriage. She leaves the Five
Oaks in and decides to return to London. Miles tells Monica what
he has witnessed the other day, but she does not believe the whole
thing being as serious as he assumes. When Jeff learns about Sable's
intentions, he offers Conny to give everything back voluntarily,
but his aunt dismisses this suggestion energetically. The Colby
Enterprises crew must face the unpleasant fact that there was an
oil spill in San Miguel Harbour, most likely caused by one of their
ships. Miles watches how well Fallon and Jeff are getting along.
He is deadly jealous and pushes her again to make a final choice
. Monica apologizes to Conny for her headless interference with
Hutch. Her aunt doesn't bear her grudge, but is determined to fight
Sable. Zach and Captain Livadas meet again. When Zach claims that
Livadas’ debt isn't paid yet, the captain threatens to take Zach
down with him. Miles attacks his father with allusions on him and
Frankie. He also tries to talk his mother out of her plan to leave
for the auction in New York due to the tense situation, but Sable
doesn't get the actual message. She comes to Zach's apartment in
order to view one of his painting, but still refuses to deepen their
"friendship". Monica begs Hutch's pardon and asks him
to reconcile with Conny, but he is not willing to get over his hurt
pride. On her way home, she meets the blind singer Wayne Masterson
in a bar and records one of his songs. Sable apologizes to Frankie
for her hostile behavior. And she admits how afraid she is that
her marriage might end like that of their parents who had divorced.
Jeff is confused about his mother's leaving, he requests an explanation
which she isn't able to give him. With Frankie being gone, Jason
decides to give his relationship with Sable another chance, but
when he must recognize that she is not willing to give up her plot
against Conny, he leaves his wife. Monica presents Wayne Masterson
to Neil. He doesn't share her enthusiasm about him which leads to
another argument and Monica asserts herself. Sable appeals to Conny
again to undo her gift to Jeff in order to save her marriage, but
Conny turns her down. She tells Jeff that there must be an old letter
from Philip to Cecil which could prove that Jeff is entitled to
his share of Colby Enterprises. Since Colby Enterprises is considered
to be responsible for the oil spill, an injunction is set against
the pipeline. Miles comes to know that Jason is planning to go to
London to meet Frankie. He accuses his "fallen idol" of
flying round half the world to betray his wife and tells him he
does no longer have a son.
9.
The Letter
Conny tries to write a letter to Hutch in order to explain everything,
but she can't manage. Jeff tells her that Alexis hasn't found the
certain letter in Cecil's files. But a little later, Adam Carrington
calls and says that he has found the letters for Jeff in Cecil's
Logan Rhinewood file. Miles wants to talk Sable out of going to
New York, he tries to make her see what's happening to her marriage,
but since she has no suspicion against Frankie and Jason, she still
doesn't get the message behind his allusions. Fallon tries to comfort
Miles who is really down after all these disappointments. Roger
proposes to Frankie, she accepts right at the minute when Jason
turns up. Monica and Neil get closer. Garrett and Jason must face
some trouble with Blake who is jumping up and down because of the
injunction. Nonetheless, Jason assures Adam to tell Blake that he
is still in control of everything. Wayne and Monica start working
together. Frankie calls Sable in New York and breaks the news to
her. Sable is really happy for her, but the auction is a disappointment
for her. She is outbid and rather furious when she finds out it
was Zach who bought the Matisse. He wants to give her the painting
as a gift, but she makes clear that she won't sell herself. Nevertheless
he manages to get her to kiss him. Miles blames Jason for betraying
his mother. Adam meets Fallon and gives Jeff the promised letter.
Conny is pleased, but Adam has brought along another letter which
insinuates that Jeff is not Philip's son. Conny knows that Jeff
wouldn't be entitled any longer to anything in this case due to
her father’s will. She tries to burn the letter, but the attempt
fails which Conny doesn't notice because she hastily follows Sable
in order to talk to her. Sable is not aware of that and is shocked
when Conny collides with her car. Jason is badly afraid to lose
his sister and reacts quite unfair. Sable is desperate and full
regrets. By accident she finds the letter Conny wanted to burn in
the fire place...
10.
The Turning Point
Jason accompanies Conny to the hospital, praying that she shall
stay alive. After a thorough examination he is told that she's got
a concussion, but it seems as though she has been lucky after all.
In spite of the letter she has found, Sable is tortured by remorse,
not even Monica can convince her that everything is going to be
all right again. Jeff feels guilty since he had shown the letter
to Conny, but Fallon talks him out of this idea. Finally he decides
to visit his mother in Rome. Roger is suspicious about Frankie’s
sudden acceptance of his proposal, he wonders if she is still in
love with Jason. Sable tries to reconcile with Jason, she's withdrawn
her charges against Conny, but Jason assures her that it is too
late for them. Zach has had the Matisse brought to Sable's gallery.
Furiously she asks him to take it back and to leave her alone since
he's used and deceived her. Sean finally quits his job as his uncle's
spy. He wants to marry Bliss, but she is scared by the mere thought.
Jason, Garrett, Jeff and Miles find out that there was a connection
between Livadas and Zach. They are sure the oil spill was the result
of a sabotage. Jeff suggest to fly to Greece in order to talk to
Livadas. Miles undertakes a fishing expedition with the pump man
Mahoney who was on duty in the night of the oil spill, they drink
and finally get into a row. When Sable later bandages Miles’ hand,
he's still drunk and slips concerning Frankie and Jason. Sable pretends
not to be surprised, but in fact, she is shocked. Conny decides
not to tell Jason anything about Philip's letter. Neil apologizes
to Monica for his prejudice against Wayne. They fly to San Francisco
for dinner and spend the night together. Fallon informs Miles that
she wants to accept his annulment offer, he reacts very furious
and disappointed. Sean reveals to Jason that Zach is his uncle and
that he wants to marry Bliss. Jason promises to do everything to
prevent that marriage. Conny tries to persuade Jeff to forget about
the past, but he says he needs to know who he really is. Sable thinks
she can force Jason not to divorce her. She threatens to divulge
the truth about her sister's loose morality, but Jason is just disgusted
with her behavior and leaves her.
11.
Thursday's Child
In order to justify her attacks against Jeff, Sable shows Jason
Philip's letter, after which Jason tries to reach Frankie, but she
is in Rome, meeting Jeff. She manages to calm Jeff down and convince
him that he is Philip's son. Jeff is relieved, but warns Frankie
about Sable Garrett, Jason and Miles are rather sure that Zach is
behind the oil spill. But when Jeff arrives in Athens he finds only
Captain Livadas’ body: he has been murdered. Arthur Cates advises
Sable to get the confirmation of a graphologist that Philip's letter
is genuine and reveals that Andrew Colby's last will determines
that only Colby family members are entitled to hold Colby Enterprises
shares. Conny recovers only very slowly which worries Monica. She
notifies Hutch and he finally visits her. They reconcile. Jason
tries to explain Miles the matter with his mother and Frankie, but
the boy makes clear that he must make up his mind. Monica produces
Wayne’s first video. Her partner Neil is still critical and jealous
since the blind attractive man obviously likes Monica very much.
Bliss is radiant with joy when she hears that Sean has asked for
Jason’s consent to marry her, but when her father reveals that he
is Zach's nephew she feels used and dumps her boy friend. Miles
suggests that he could adopt LB, but Fallon does not like the idea.
When he hands the annulment papers to her, Miles loses control over
himself and rapes Fallon. The hurt young woman leaves for Denver.
Sable tries to find out what happened between her and Miles, but
neither Fallon nor her son would tell her. Bliss is disappointed
and sad. When her mother wants to comfort her she is quite surprised,
too, about Zach's and Sean's connection, she feels being deceived
herself. Sable blames Zach of using her and her family, but unfortunately
she must recognize that she is not able to resist his attraction.
Jason awaits Frankie’s arrival in London and asks her directly if
Jeff is their son.
12.
The Pact
Frankie keeps swearing that Jeff is Philip's son and not the result
of her affair with Jason. Meanwhile LB comes down with a slight
fever after returning with his mother from Denver. Fallon admits
that she still loves both Jeff and Miles and that she would appreciate
not to be pushed. The graphologist confirms that Philip's letter
is genuine which encourages Sable even more to go through with her
plan. Monica and Neil present Wayne Masterson to their boss. Dominique
is impressed, but enlightens Monica about the fact that her lover
is a married man. Sable works on Jeff to give Fallon up and threatens
to use the letter against Frankie. Besides, she appeals to Fallon
not to let Miles down. At Colby Enterprises, they are still searching
for a proof that Zach has caused the oil spill. Miles assures Jeff
that if he cannot have Fallon he would make sure that Jeff won't
have her either. Hutch takes Conny home from the hospital. Fallon
and Miles sign the annulment papers and Miles apologizes for his
outrageous behavior the other night, but doesn't manage to make
Fallon change her mind. Bliss does her best to cheer him up after
this painful experience. Garrett is rather sure that Dominique is
hiding something from him, but she wouldn't confide in him. Sable
and Jason finally agree on a pact: No divorce, no trial against
Jeff. Dominique introduces Wayne in her night club. In the middle
of the party, Fallon and Jeff are summoned to the hospital: LB has
got meningitis. Fallon is desperate. In the chapel of the hospital,
she prays for his life and promises that she will never leave LB
or his father again if he doesn't die.
13.
Fallon's Choice
Miles feels excluded from everything, he is worried about L.B, too.
Monica is not too glad when he tells her twin that he wants to undo
the annulment, doesn't see much of an hope for him to succeed and
tries instead to talk him out of the idea of winning Fallon back.
Jason calls Blake and informs him about their grandson. Unfortunately
the doctors emphasize the fact that they can't do anything but wait.
Jeff calls Frankie. Conny must disappoint Hutch again. She is positive
that LB will make it, but explains to her friend that there is a
lot of other trouble she must deal with. Miles is contacted by the
police: They have found William Mahoney dead in the harbor and obviously
suspect him of being involved. LB recovers finally and Jeff asks
Fallon to marry him again. She accepts. Garrett and Jason investigate
Zach's past. Sean takes Bliss with him to meet his mother who live
in a hospital. He tries to explain that he owed Zach for paying
for everything, and Bliss understands, but she doesn't change her
mind. Conny finds out that Sable has played tricks on her in order
to make her seem confused. Fallon breaks the news to Miles that
she has chosen Jeff. Miles reacts very furiously and accuses her
again of being selfish and unfair. Sable for her part blames Conny
for Fallon's decision. She shows Philip's letter to Miles who makes
no bones about using it. According to Arthur Cates he must find
a proof for Frankie’s infidelity Wayne has dedicated a song to Monica.
They come very close, but Neil interferes and complains about her
behavior, which causes Monica to confront him with the fact that
she is in the know about his marriage. Conny comes back to work
at Colby Enterprises. Roger has got a surprise for Frankie: He is
going to be a vice council in the British Consulate in Los Angeles.
Jason tries to talk Miles out of his plan to take Jeff to court.
An ugly fight develops which ends with a slap in Miles’ face.
14.
The Trial
Jason receives a summons to court, he is furious and blames Sable
for showing Miles Philip's letter. Jeff and Fallon are annoyed,
too, since they know that this is just an attempt to get back at
them for losing Fallon. Though he doesn't side with Miles, Jason
tells Jeff that he won't be allowed to keep his shares in case the
letter turns out to say the truth. Jeff is disappointed about his
uncle. Frankie promises to testify for him, which worries Roger.
He is afraid of getting involved into a scandal. Garrett is hired
by Conny to defend Jeff's purposes in court. Jason still tries to
talk Miles out of his crazy idea and Conny even offers him to give
him the voting power which she has held back for herself if he drops
the case, but he just asks her to understand that he can't do this.
With the money he got by his success at Titania Records, Wayne plans
to have an operation which could make him able to see again. Neil
is less fortunate, Monica sacks him. Arthur has found an important
witness for Miles but it seems to be a problem to track the man
down. During a reception in the embassy, Roger asks Jason to stay
away from Frankie. Sable for her part embarrasses them all by calling
her sister a slut in public. Bliss complains to her mother that
her life is so empty and she has got nothing to share. She finally
returns to Sean, they reconcile. Fallon swears to stick to Jeff
whatever will happen. Arthur Cates is very hard on Frankie in court,
she keep swearing that she wasn't unfaithful to Philip. But then
the doctor who treated Philip in Saigon declares that Philip was
sterile.
15.
Burden Of Proof
In spite of the doctor's testimony and in spite of her own admitting
that she once slept with another man, Frankie insists that Jeff
is a Colby. Arthur wants to forces her to give a concrete answer,
but before she can do so, Jason declares that he is Jeff's father.
Everybody is shocked, all above Sable. Miles drives furiously off
with his car. He is having an accident, but fortunately gets over
it without being injured. Jeff accuses Frankie of destroying his
life and his illusions, she tries to convince him she didn’t know
but doesn't manage to calm him down. Roger tries to comfort her,
but is annoyed when she agrees to see Jason. Jason himself seems
to be pretty glad about the way things have turned out, although
he doesn't really believe she didn’t have a clue. Sable is unspeakably
hurt and tells Jason she will never forgive him. Jeff wants to leave
California, but Conny makes him see that Miles is worse off than
he is. When they come to talk, Jeff refuses to accept Jason as his
father, he tells him that they have nothing in common but business.
Conny blames herself for the whole mess, but advises Jason give
Jeff a little time to get over it. Her try to comfort Sable ends
in another fight and Conny doesn't hesitate to tell her that she
is actually responsible for everything. Sable flees to the gallery
where Zach is waiting to comfort her. Surprisingly Fallon wants
to stay in California, whiles Jeff is still determined to leave.
Bliss and Sable come up with the conclusion that they have judged
both Sean and Zach too quickly and that they are not that bad at
all, especially considering Jason’s strange ideas of morality. Zach
is sour, he blames Jason for having slandered him by getting his
name connected with the Mahoney murder. Wayne responds very annoyed
Monica’s news that the promotional tour is going to be postponed
and gives her thus another thing to worry about. In the morning,
Fallon finds a note from Miles on her bed which shows her that he
has sneaked into her bedroom while she was sleeping. When she and
Jeff return from their walk at the beach, Miles awaits them. He
provokes Jeff by insulting Frankie and finally gets into a violent
raw with him. The fight comes to a sudden end when one of the balustrades
cracks and Jeff goes over down the rocks...
16.
My Father's House
Jeff is lucky, he is fortunately not seriously injured and Miles
helps him to get up again, but despite of this dangerous accident
Miles doesn't show the slightest regret for his behavior. Sable
and Jason agree on a divorce. Jeff doesn't approve of LB's getting
close to Jason and suggests again to get married in Denver, but
Fallon is superstitious because of what happened the last time.
She asks Jason if they can marry in Bel Air and he agrees gladly.
Frankie’s try to reconcile with Sable fails, Sable is not willing
to forgive her and finally Frankie is angry enough to tell Sable
that all this is Sable's own doing. Jason suggests that Miles should
go to New York for a while in order to get his mind off all the
trouble, but his son refuses. Monica bears Jason no grudge because
of Jeff, but she is worried about the planned wedding in L.A. Sable
declares that she wants the house when they divorce. Jason doesn't
seem to care much about that, but Conny refuses to sell her half
to him for this purpose. In spite of all the pain Jason caused her,
Sable can't bring herself to sleep with Zach. He understands and
even promises her to pull some strings in order to get Roger transferred
to somewhere else. Anyway, Sable spends the night at Zach's penthouse,
not knowing that Conny’s private investigator is watching her. Jason
is surprised to find her bed empty in the morning and Miles faces
an unpleasant surprise when he wants to meet Zach, but finds Sable
in his apartment instead. Shocked and confused, he leaves. Conny
believes that she owes Jason to support the relationship between
him and Jeff and admits to her nephew that his presumed father Philip
was not quite the hero character which she created for Jeff in her
stories. Roger gets suspicious when he is suddenly summoned to Singapore.
He leaves but Frankie wants to stay in California for some time.
Monica visits Wayne and clears up their arguments. Sable keeps insisting
on getting the house in return for the divorce although Jason swears
it is impossible. Their fight is interrupted when they recognize
that LB is gone.
17.
The Outcast
After some moments of fear and desperation, Jason finds LB in the
attic. Jeff and he finally reconcile and agree that the wedding
is going to take place in California, but Sable is terrified about
this outrageous idea. Jason doesn't care and even orders her to
take care of all the arrangements. Dominique wants Monica to rehire
Neil and confronts her with some careless mistakes she has committed.
Sable explains to Miles her being in Zach's place and breaks the
news about the wedding to him. Furiously, Miles accuses Fallon of
being selfish and trying to get back at him for the rape. Garrett
warns Jason that the divorce might get too expensive for Colby Enterprises.
Sable and Fallon discuss the wedding and end up fighting again.
The Mahoney case worries Jason, but the only subject which seems
to worry Miles is the wedding. Zach wants to sleep with Sable, but
after her embarrassing encounter with Miles she is of the opinion
that they'd better be reasonable. Their discussion is taped by the
hired investigator, who hands the tape directly to Conny. Jeff apologizes
to Frankie for his behavior after the trial and asks her to stay
for the wedding in L.A. Miles and Zach talk about the murder affair
and Sable and finally make a "gentlemen’s agreement":
Miles promises not to tell Jason about Zach and Sable and Zach promises
in return to help him with the murder case. Jason wants Conny to
retire, but she refuses. Fallon and Jeff are a little bit sad that
Blake and Krystle are not able to attend the engagement party, but
they decide to enjoy the evening in spite of it and in spite of
all tensions. Sable attacks Frankie again which makes Jason very
angry. Monica, encouraged by Dominique, asks Neil to come back to
Titania Records - on business terms only. Miles turns up drunk,
he almost ruins the party, but finally wishes Fallon and Jeff good
luck. In fact, he has no intention to give up Fallon for good.
18.
The Wedding
The wedding arrangements have started. Fallon thanks Miles for everything.
He assures that he does not regret a single second with her. But
Monica is worried since Miles seems to hope seriously for a failure
of their marriage and for a second chance for him. Jason asks Jeff
to help Miles to get back his pride. The injunction is still in
operation. Blake has come earlier with Steven to California in order
to accomplish his business agreement with Zach Powers concerning
his oil. But Blake is also suspicious about the rumors which gets
Zach in connection with the murder of William Mahoney. Zach feels
insulted by Blake's allusions, but his stepson Spiro Koralis seems
to suspect Zach, too. Miles is asked for an examination by the police.
Meanwhile Fallon is very angry about her mother Alexis who has taken
Blake to court. Anyway it seems as if Alexis and Krystle won't be
able to fly to California because of the weather. Sable begs Zach
not to attend the wedding, but of course he doesn't change his plans
for her. Jason is amazed to find himself still somehow attracted
by Sable, which gives her new hope. Sable tries to get closer to
him again, but Conny is determined to help her brother off the hook.
Fallon must promise Steven not to let Jeff ever go again. Her husband
to be is rather convinced that his marriage will work out this time
and Blake is just happy to get his "son" back. Nevertheless
he can't avoid getting into an argument with Jason about Zach again.
While Dominique apologizes to Jeff for her numerous tries to convince
him that Fallon was dead, Sable asks Miles not to torture himself
by participating in the wedding ceremony, but he insists on it.
He and Jeff sort of reconcile before the wedding takes place. Bliss
and Sean decide secretly to get married, too . Fallon and Jeff have
scarcely left for their honeymoon when the police turns up and arrests
Miles for murder.
19.
The Honeymoon
Miles must stay in jail, district attorney John Moretti refuses
to set him free for bail. Fallon and Jeff enjoy their honeymoon
and remember their first "wedding trip" to Las Vegas.
Bliss and Sean are on their way to Las Vegas, but break off their
trip when they hear about Miles in the news. Sable is desperate
about Miles. For the first time for years she shows how vulnerable
and afraid she actually is inside and asks Jason for comfort. Jason
tells Zach he'd rather burn the oil than require his help. Miles
must stay in jail another day in order to get the best condition
to get free for bail. Monica tries to encourage him, but his strange
behavior bewilders her. She explains to Wayne that under the present
circumstances she cannot accompany him to the hospital where he
is going to have his operation and he understands. In Jamaica, Fallon
and Jeff make plans for their future. Roger admits that he can't
go to Singapore because of Frankie’s ruined reputation. She wants
to be fair and confesses that she has used him and that she still
loves Jason, after which Roger offers her to let her go. Zach tries
to rally the desperate Sable against Jason. Conny suggests that
Frankie might move into the pool house and thus provokes another
argument with Sable. Bliss and Sean return, but although she has
promised, she doesn't disclose the fact that they were going to
get married to the family. Monica complains to her mother that Miles
is shutting her out. When Jason swears that he had nothing to do
with Rogers transfer to Singapore, Frankie assumes that Sable must
be behind it and attacks her. And she accepts Conny’s invitation.
Fallon and Jeff get a frightening prophecy by a woman on Jamaica.
Miles terrifies Sable with the confession that he had a blackout
and doesn't know if he has killed Mahoney or not. At the arraignment,
Moretti lets Jason know that they have the murder weapon with Miles’
finger prints all over it.
20.
Double Jeopardy
Fallon and Jeff interrupt their honeymoon in order to help Miles.
He keeps pretending "I’m fine", but Fallon's thinks that
he's just bluffing. Sable still hopes that she might win Jason back,
now that their son is in trouble. She persuades Jason to attend
the opening night of the new wing of her gallery. Frankie leaves
for Mexico in order to divorce Roger, which makes Jason start hoping
again, but she tells him she won't come back before he is a free
man. Jeff is contacted by district attorney Moretti, who states
that Jeff was in Greece when Captain Livadas was murdered. Sable
tries to convince Miles that everything is going to be all right
between her and Jason, but Miles remains realistic, he doesn't want
to see her hurt. Jason, Garrett and Jeff are rather worried about
Moretti and Miles’ trial. Finally Jason persuades Garrett to file
a claim for disclosure of all proofs, while his lawyer wants to
wait until the preliminary. Sean accuses Bliss of having used him
in order to rebel against her father. Contrary to all her principles,
Monica continues her affair with Neil. He promises to ask his wife
for divorce as soon as possible. Sean informs Zach that he is going
to leave and join "Ocean World" in Florida; and that he
wouldn't have anything to do with his dirty business and vendetta
anymore. Zach throws him out, but his stepson Spiro Koralis seems
to be very amuses about his trouble. Sable investigates Moretti's
past in order to have him disqualified. Jeff offers his help to
Miles, too, but his brother responds rather aggressively to that.
Zach finally succeeds in persuading Sable to keep his Matisse. Nevertheless,
she confirms that she goes back to Jason and asks him not to attend
the opening night. Bliss wants to change her life. She confesses
to Sable that it is true that she has just used Sean to hurt Jason.
Sable encourages her by assuring that the family will hold on together.
Besides, Sable tries to reconcile with Conny, but her sister-in-law
doesn't believe her. Frankie gets divorced in Acapulco. She calls
Conny to confirm it is over, unaware of the fact that their phone
call is listened to by Sable. After a visit in prison, Monica thinks
that Miles is hiding something from her, which worries Jason, too.
Despite Sable's objection, Zach turns up at the opening night in
the gallery which reaches its climax when Jeff is arrested for murder
by Moretti in public.
21.
A Family Affair
Jason and Garrett try to get Jeff out of jail and to clear up the
matter while Moretti enjoys his latest triumph. Jason accuses the
district attorney of abusing his position for his vengeance against
him. Conny calls Jeff's mother in Mexico and Frankie insists on
coming back. Sable keeps telling Conny that she is willing to change,
but Conny does not believe her, but after assuring Jason that she
does accept Jeff and cares what happened to him, she manages to
spend a night in Jason’s bed and must witness a phone call between
Jason and Frankie. Fallon is worried about Jeff, but Miles does
his best to cheer her up, telling her he would do everything in
his part to help Jeff, which makes Fallon very happy. Garrett bails
Jeff out, but keeps insists that it would be better if Jeff and
Miles had solid alibis. Sable asks for Zach's help concerning Miles’
case. In order to disturb the harmony between Frankie and Jason,
she makes Frankie believe that she and Jason had reconciled and
made love again and that everything is all right now. She doesn't
mention the fact that she is perfectly in the know that Frankie
has divorced Roger. Conny asks Monica about the relevance of audio
tapes in court. When Bliss wants to bring Sean's ring back, she
meets Spiro Koralis in Zach's office. Jason is still convinced that
Zach is behind the mess with Miles and Jeff, he offers Powers to
let him transport all the Carrington oil if he lets his boys off
the hook. Zach repeats he's nothing to do with the matter, but lets
Jason finally know that he hates his family because his father committed
suicide after being ruined by Colby Enterprises. In Greece, a witness
has turned up who claims to have seen Jeff. Sean and Bliss say good
bye, they remain friends. Miles confides to Monica that he is not
able to say if he killed Mahoney or not, but his twin sister dismisses
the mere possibility, she doesn't believe him capable of a murder.
Frankie wants to accompany Jason to Greece and interprets his hesitation
by assuming he still loves Sable, but Jason asks her to marry him.
Zach wants Spiro to find out everything about the Mahoney case.
He assures Sable that he's nothing to do with the whole thing. Sable
finds out about Jason’s and Frankie’s traveling plans. She surprises
them on the plane with the news that she will keep them company
as "moral support".
22.
The Recording
Jason, Sable and Frankie fly to Greece. Sable uses every opportunity
to torture her sister with details of hers and Jason’s "happy"
relationship. Conny is afraid that Sable might walk out of the marriage
with too much power and support Zach with it, not at least because
she manages to make Sable's secretary divulge the fact to her that
it was Zach who donated the Matisse. She summons Powers to her office
and fools him badly. Monica and Miles search for Miles’ memory in
San Miguel, but he just can't remember what has happened. While
Jason is working on Minister Kolermos in order to make him arrange
a meeting with the so-called witness, Sable keeps on performing
her little "everything-is-alright" show with Frankie,
who suffers badly from it. With Miles and Jeff being in trouble,
Fallon is still scared by remembering the prophecy of the woman
in Jamaica. Meanwhile Bliss and Monica must recognize that their
brother has disappeared and that Moretti is already after him. Jason
finds proof that the witness in Athens was set up against Jeff,
it seems quite obvious now that Powers was behind it. Jason and
Frankie are relieved, but the news that Miles has obviously jumped
bail worries them, Sable is terrified. She asks Jason for help as
soon as they get back to L.A. Garrett is very critical, too. They
have no idea that Miles has gone to Dr. Parris and tries to find
out what has happened with truth serum. He turns up very late for
the hearing without any relevant news, but he has to admit that
the murder weapon is his hammer. Wayne Masterson returns to Monica,
he can see again. Sable makes no bones about it to declare that
she is willing to lie for Miles in court in order to give him an
alibi. Frankie complains to Jason about Sable's omnipresence and
accuses him of having no real intention to make her let him go.
After another ugly fight with Sable, Conny is fed up with everything
and presents Jason the tape of her and Zach Powers.
23.
Anniversary Waltz
While Jason is not sure what to do with the tape, Sable is secretly
planning a surprise anniversary party for them and hopes that this
will help to reconcile them. Bliss is horrified about the idea,
but Miles thinks that it is at least worth a try. Nevertheless he
turns down Sable's offer to lie for him in court. Jeff wants to
help Miles, they come across the fact that the murder weapon wasn't
in Miles’ possession when Mahoney was killed. Neil gives Monica
the key to his flat and swears again to divorce his wife. When Wayne
realizes what is going on between Monica and Neil, he leaves Titania
Records and L.A.. Frankie wonders if her relationship with Jason
will ever work out so long as Sable gets her way. Spiro has still
doubts if Zach wasn't responsible for his mother's fatal accident
then. Bliss seems to like him, they make an appointment for lunch.
Before Conny leaves with Hutch for their big trip, Fallon breaks
the news to her that she might be pregnant and thanks her for everything.
Sable tells Zach that it's over between them, but he is sure she
will come back. She is quite shocked when Jason reveals the fact
to her that Zach hates all the Colbys. Miles and Jeff find the original
hammer. Full of gratefulness, Miles reconciles with his brother.
Frankie and Jason are tense because of the announce family dinner,
but when Jason is confronted with the fact that it is an anniversary
party which Sable has arranged he furiously decides to finish the
whole thing for good. He shows Sable the tape and repeats unmistakably
that he doesn't love her but Frankie. Sable is terrified to recognize
that she has wasted her life to a man who was always in love with
her sister and runs to Zach for comfort. Miles and Jeff present
the proof of Miles’ innocence to Jason, who immediately heads for
Zach's penthouse where he almost surprises Spiro and Bliss in bed,
but he ends up in the harbor on Zach's yacht, accusing his enemy
of having arranged the murders in order to get Miles and Jeff framed
for it. Zach pulls a gun to force him to leave, the two men start
fighting for it. Suddenly Sable turns up, the gun goes off accidentally
and Sable breaks down...
24.
Checkmate
Sable is brought to hospital, she's got a subdoral hematoma and
might lose her sight. Jason suffers from terrible remorse. Fallon
tells Jeff that she might be pregnant, but then Monica barges in
and notifies them about Sable's accident. Zach reproaches Jason
with what has happened, he admits that he loves Sable, but also
that she had refused sleeping with him up to now. Meanwhile the
police starts investigating the case, although Jason and Zach tell
them it was an accident. The worried family gathers in the hospital
and is deeply relieved to hear that Sable is out of danger and going
to be all right again. Jason visits her and, under the emotional
pressure of his remorse, says she is his girl and nobody else's
and gives her the tape. Sable takes this for the final reconciliation.
She says good bye to Zach again and refuses to believe that Jason
didn’t come for her but for the Miles and Jeff. Zach is indignant
when he finds Bliss with his stepson Spiro, he orders him to stay
away from the girl. Jason presents the proof of Miles’ innocence
to Moretti and warns him ever to attack him again. But the district
attorney tends right to the next case: Sable's accident. Conny,
who has returned because of the incident, tells Sable she's living
in a "fool's paradise" if she believes she can save her
marriage with Jason, but Sable is completely convinced that she
has won. Miles confesses to his twin sister that he is still in
love with Fallon. Zach has found out that Spiro had set up the wrong
witness in Athens in order to get Zach into suspicion, he throws
him out. Monica catches Neil with his wife in bed. Hurt and confused,
she flies off with her plane and crashes only little later in the
mountains when she runs out of fuel. Conny pushes Jason to fight
Sable, who is already having his things moved back into her bedroom.
Jason asks Frankie to get ready for a trip to the Dominion Republic
to get divorced. Sable is shocked when he announces again to leave
her for good, she follows him hastily in order to stop him, trips
on the stairs and falls. Carried away by her anger and hurt pride,
she tells Moretti Jason had beaten her up and tried to kill her
on purpose. Fallon must face the fact that the baby she's expecting
might be Miles'. Before he and Frankie can enter the plane, Jason
is arrested by Moretti for attempted murder at the airport.
