She is a real tigress, beautiful, smart, sneaky, a fighter but greedy. Married to billionaire Jason Colby, Sable is the fiercely protective mother of Miles, Monica and Bliss. She will put herself in an delicate situation by refusing to accept Jeff as the part of the family which caused conflicts with Jason and Constance. 

Sable is not thrilled to learn Jason's sister Constance has given Jeff her shares of Colby Enterprises. She believes those shares rightfully belong to Miles. Soon, Sable goes to work scheming to halt the transfer and privately suggesting to Jeff that he leave the family estate while encouraging Miles to protect his interests. Sable's devious activities continue when she works to make Constance look mentally incompetent. Unfortunately for Sable, her scheming starts to backfire, causing problems in her marriage to Jason.

Sable is devastated after the trial, which was her idea, because it is revealed that Jeff is the son of her sister Francesca and Jason. Her relationship with sister was never great but when she finds out
about the affair, it deepens her hate further. Her intrigues will completely alienate her from Jason and
they will get a divorce. She will end up in bed of the man with hot blood, Zack Powers who will consider this another won battle against Jason. 

In the end, Sable prioritizes her family, and after Philip returns, normalizes her relationship with Jason.

Later, she moves to Denver and becomes close friend of the Carrington's and Alexis' biggest rival. She will take her hotel over, tankers, company stocks and Dex who she will really love and get pregnant by him.
