Leslie Carrington is Ben's daughter from her father's relationship with Melissa. She is burdened by the past and the machinations of her father. 

Leslie is pretty immature and is not a complete personality because she wasn't raised in a proper family after the death of her mother. Life thought Leslie to go after what she wants but with the Carringtons, that wont always be easy. 

When she took a job at Alexis, she tried imitating her way of dressing, her attitude and the skill of steeling husbands. She will try a relationship with Dex, briefly sleep with Jeff, but most exciting will be her sadistic, sexual relationship with Sean Raun, Alexis's husband, who will try to kill her after she reveals his true identity and his plan to destroy the Carringtons.

The only true relationship will be the one with Clay, but they will break it off thinking they are committing incest because of the possibility Clay is Ben's son from the affair he had with senator Folmont's wife. 

Leslie's stay in Denver with the Carringtons was a tough life's lesson teaching her you can't have everything.
